Inept NP
I was sent to Dr. Henderson, but was seen by his NP. It was a horrible experience. The NP had poor bedside manner, misdiagnosed me, gave me a shot of medicine I was not supposed to have, pushed for surgery without even explaining what was happening to my body, and when asked, she couldn't or wouldn't give me her professional opinion. I did not trust her and sought a second opinion. I'm so glad I did! Although I've never met Dr. Henderson, his practice seems too busy, chaotic and negligent to hire the right people. I never want to go there again.

Waited for surgery for 6 hours, placed 4 calls into the office day after surgery. Office staff didn’t even know where their Doc was when we called. Doesn’t seem to be concerned about his patients welfare. Placed a call day after surgery to see what to do and he didn’t call back for 5 days! Husband ended up back in the ER with a nasty infection! NEVER GOING TO SUMMIT UROLOGY AGAIN! If you can’t care for the patients you already have DO NOT take on new patients! We are the Customers! We pay you! Treat us as such! I give them 10 thumbs down! ??

Exceptional Doctor. Very personable and caring. Took the time to explain what was going on and made what could have been, well is, an uncomfortable situation tolerable. I feel very confident in his ability.

Cares about $ more than patients. I had problems after giving birth that I was referred to him for. We discussed the importance of doing tests before the new year because things were financially tight after having a baby. He scheduled a follow up that landed in the new year. I called the office to cancel, but the person I talked to on the phone said not to worry because insurance would cover a follow up. On the day of, i double checked with the lady who checked me in and she assured me I wouldn't be charged and if I did, to just call them and they'd take care of it. I DID get a bill and called them and they DENIED ever saying those things to me when the office manager asked them. I asked to talk to Dr. Henderson because he knew about my financial situation, and the manager told me he gave two options:pay or be banned from all Granger Medical facilities. I had to take the latter because I couldn't afford it! I'd understand if I had a bad record, but I don't! Truly showed his priorities.

I have been going to Dr. Henderson for a couple of years. He is very personable and capable, but there is no follow through. I ran out of medication that I have to take every ten days and I can't get them to reorder it. I'm beyond the time, again. The nursing staff never returns phone calls, so I have no medication and I have no idea why they won't reorder it. It's time to find a new Urologist.

If you need a prostate biopsy this is your guy. My first biopsy from a different doctor was painful and lasted for months. Dr. Henderson did a second biopsy. I had hardly any bleeding, the procedure was nowhere near as painful. I went to work the next afternoon. He explained everything so I understood.

First off the reason for the one star, is for the nurse who was awesome. From there on it went from bad to worse. I understand they have recently been taken over by Summit Urology, which is maybe why the administration is in such a mess and the wait times are increasing. Summit/Granger's other offices are famous for their long wait times and overscheduling. In addition I found the procedure rooms to be small and not as clean as you would expect. I also don't like that you really only get to see

After visiting 2 other urologist, I was referred to Summit urology. Over my treatment I've been seeing Brad and Dr. Henderson. First off, Brad is a total Stud! From day 1 visiting the clinic, he was enthusiastic in treating my issues and offered solutions the previous clinics did not . It made me feel like I was on the right track. After going though the motions, I finally ended up having surgery. Dr. Henderson is extremely focused on getting you back to normal.

I found Dr. Henderson to be extremely competent and experienced, especially for his young age. He provided up-to-date information about the latest prostate procedures that was very helpful and proved to be accurate for our choice of procedures. In addition, his surgical skill was evident in providing an outcome that was better than the average as portrayed in the medical literature. I also found him to be very concerned about me as his patient and to be very warm and friendly.

Dr. Henderson is amazing. He was great prior to, during and after my major surgery and recovery. While in the hospital for many days, he checked on me everyday to see how I was doing. He is very kind and compassionate. He took whatever time and resources that were needed to answer any questions and concerns that either my wife or I had. I would definitely recommend Dr. Henderson to anyone needing his skills and expertise.

I have had a bunch of kidney stones over the past 20 years. As a result I have seen a fair number of Urologists. In the past I have had Lithotripsy, passed some stones, and maybe the worst experience in my life an Ureteroscopy. My most recent stone was 7mm by 6mm and due to its location Ureteroscopy was my only option. Dr. Henderson was reassuring and extremely competent. He communicated with me and my wife extremely well and addressed all of my concerns. I totally recommend him. Best Urologist!

I went to two other urologists who were great but they gave up on me and sentenced me to a life of catheters. I bumped into Dr. Henderson in the emergency room and this guy fixed me up permanently. No more catheters. He is a miracle worker and I tell everyone that he is the best and there is no need of fiddling around trying to find the right doctor. He is the man!

Dr. Henderson is not only an excellent physician but he is a very kind and compassionate person. On short notice, he cancelled his office appointments to assist on emergency surgery for my husband. I was touched by his efforts to assist on short notice and for the concern he extended to me as I waited for my husband through a very long surgical procedure. I feel blessed and secure that my husband is in excellent hands.

Dr. Henderson performed my vasectomy recently and did a great job walking me through the process, getting me confident enough to actually do the procedure (because I was really nervous), and made the procedure a breeze. He was super easy to talk to and I never felt rushed. I would recommend him to anyone.
