Dr. Serena Klugh, MD

Just left my second appointment with Dr. Klugh. She had previously sent me for blood work to check glucose levels. My history is uncontrollable gestational Diabetes with symptoms still present (baby is 10 months old). I provided the medical assistant with my glucose monitor that showed a clear graph of my levels in the past months. Dr. Klugh refused to assess the data from my glucose monitor. Although the labs she ordered indicated my glucose level was high, it was not enough to cause concern. I asked for a tolerance test and she refused to provide an order. Keep in mind, my father is diabetic as is my paternal grandmother and late paternal grandfather. In the meantime, I will continue with my levels above 120 (during fasting) and up to 200s throughout the day. She is dismissive and does not care what you have to say. She did the bare minimum and again, refused to walk outside of the room to ask for my glucose monitor levels.

I had a great experience with this doctor. She reviewed my labs and gave me options. When I left I had a treatment plan and more options. I feel that I am in good hands.

She is very kind and knowledgeable, I wouldn't go to anyone else.

I have always had great experiences with Dr. Klugh, at times her assistants have been forgetful and difficult but the Dr. herself is wonderful. I have been seeing her for several years now and she is always on her game, never rushed me and always had my best interests at heart, caring and listens to me just fine. I have zero complaints and will continue to see her even though she is a further drive for me.

I had a terrible experience with Dr. Klugh. She didn't seem to listen to my concerns or experience regarding my health. I could never get a call back within a reasonable amount of time. I was seeing her for thyroid cancer, and she seemed to drop the ball with my care. Sadly, I definitely would not recommend her.

When I called to make an appointment with her it was fast and easy! The first time we met, she was a good listener and did everything every thyroid doctors do. The second visit I had new concerns and she barley listened. Kept standing up like I was done, which I wasn't. I was out of thyroid pills and I sent Walgreens a request days before I was out to send her a request for a refill. She denied the refill. No notification. I even called the doctors office the day after the request.
