He’s truly an amazing doctor
I unfortunately had to be admitted and was seen by him. He was wonderful and patient with me despite the fact he had many patients waiting

Showed 0 empathy. He barely asked any questions about my condition nor gave me any tips for the pain. He scribbled on his sheet and walked out in under a minute. He was very cold and didn’t seem like he wanted to be there. I didn’t want to be there either but I would’ve appreciated if he even pretended like he wanted to help people.

If I could give him a negative five, I would. This guy is the worst doctor EVER. And this was NOT my first encounter with him. First one he labeled me an addict. Anyone who knows me knows how wrong he is. This time i went in thinking I had a bad bladder infection and mentioned I have a history of heart attacks. He tried to lecture me three times about smoking, never once tested me for the bladder infection I went in on, and was going to admit me for observation FOR NO REASON. When I asked why, he told me I was old, fat, and a smoker. With my heart attacks, I needed to be monitored. EXCUSE ME? He refused to discharge me (both times listed above). He NEVER did check for the infection... For the record Dr. Golber - this old, fat woman is younger than you and if you checked, on two medications to keep me alive - that cause extreme weight gain. If you were COMPETENT, you'd understand that - goes with all my autoimmune diseases you actually laughed at.... WORST DOCTOR EVER.

Rarely do I seek medical assistance and both times I did I had the misfortune of having this dr golber. He prescribed tessolon pearles, ordered no labs and told me to take benadryl which are contraindicated to take together. I had better results from calling my Dr office the next day they gave me a medrol dose pack which actually helped me recover! This dr has awful bedside manor, I got better care in the ambulance than in the ER. He would not work with my pharmacy when a med was on backorder.

After leaving another hospital and coming to IVCH, Dr. Golber was on call in the ER. He was quick, efficient and didn't question our "gut feeling" that something was wrong. He treated my son, my husband and I with dignity and respect. His bedside manner was amazing and he went the extra step to make sure we were all taken care of. Wonderful doctor!! Would highly recommend!!
