My former migraine doctor, who I loved, retired. Before he retired, I moved over an hour away from his office, so I thought I’d find a doctor closer to me. My insurance steered me toward this doctor. I saw this doctor over a year ago after moving and soon after, I switched back to my prior doctor because Dr. Stankus was impossible to get ahold of. He sent the wrong form of my prescription to the pharmacy. They tried to contact him and I tried as well, but couldn’t get ahold of him. And he never responded to MyChart where I sent several messages. For a specialist, or any other doctor really, this is unacceptable. After the doctor I loved retired, I gave him one more try. It was a waste of my time. He said I had to go to my primary care doctor for my break through meds but then prescribed me some meds. Makes no sense.

Dr Stankus is a awesome Dr that cares and listens to your concerns. Never been to a Dr who sits down and not filled rushed. Explained what my husband had been looking for answers regarding his seizures. Now he feels more confident thanks to this Dr. Well worth the wait to see him.

I had to have emergency surgery placing six stents into my carotid artery at St. Joseph Hospital. Dr. Stankus has been caring for me since the beginning and was there to help save my life. During my hospital stay my husband purchased me a stuffed monkey from the gift shop, with the inscription of Hang In There on its shirt. We named it Stankus!!! After Dr. Stankus of course! I have really appreciate his kind, caring nature; as well as how easy he makes it to understand him.Thank you,Thank you!
