Misdiagnosed me. He was forced to write a letter of apology to me by the hospital's admin staff... he wrote "I guess you misunderstood", not really apologetic. If I had the resources I would file a lawsuit. Basically a real jerk. Do not use this doctor. Apparently, he tells most of his patients they are "psychogenic" (it's in your head, not sick, making up symptoms) Hope he reties before he really causes harm to someone. Very, Very disappointing, Shame on Strong Hospital for keeping him on staff.

No, no, no...This man was not willing to take steps to get to the root of the problem. Very arrogant! Did not take my husband's condition seriously. Just got the brush off at every appt. Did the bare minimum.

Ignored my medical history and told me I needed psychiatric help and there was nothing wrong with me. Apparently having a generic condition that causes nerve damage means nothing and is all in my head.

I find Dr. Kolkin to have an ego so big it gets in the way of decision making skills. His office manners are poor at best and his sense humor (during a visit) is almost insulting. If you have choice of working with different Doctor...do it.
