Like a petulant toddler
I gave birth back in 2022 but felt the need to write a review after seeing others reactions to my husband telling our friends about our birth story. I arrived to L&D unable to walk or speak. Nurses did a cervix check and I was 8cm but my water hadn’t broke yet. When Dr. Myles arrived to my room I had just been told an epidural was not in the cards. He literally did not even acknowledge me before shoving his hand in me. No warning, nothing. I jerked and accidentally kneed him in the shoulder. He proceeded to stand in the corner of the room with his arms crossed, refusing to break my water. Saying, “she can do it herself if she’s going to be difficult.”The nurses were obviously also annoyed with him and told me we didn’t need him and that they’d walk me through breaking my own water. I did. I then pushed my baby out in less than 10 minutes. He never actually spoke to me let alone apologize. I wouldn’t want my worst enemy to be treated by Dr. Myles.

Dr. Myles was very precise, quick to act and decisive about his medical actions. We liked him as our doctor to deliver our baby. Dr. Myles demeanor seems to be "no nonsense", which we like. Man of little words but we very much trusted him and delivered our baby without issue. We thanked him and will request him for future pregnancies.

Assumes people are drug addicts and runs panels on their urine without discussing it. He is very arrogant and cold. Thumbs down.

Dr. Myles was incredibly cold and distant while delivering devastating news to my husband and I. He never double checked the scan despite the ultrasound technician saying he would and did not provide us with any information. I had to advocate for myself and ask questions and he barely answered them. I would never want to see Dr. Myles again.
