Two level back fusion L4 L5 great deal of pain after surgery and complications. My family physician referred me to Dr Swank fir treatment if my back issues and he performed a nerve ablation and injection plus various testing prior to my spine surgery. We had some success although back issues had progressed so far surgery was imminent. I saw Dr Swank a little after 3 months post surgery. Received an injection today and a through plan for PT X-rays mon opioid pain medication etc. I trust Dr Swank due to my prior experience with him and I am glad I am once again under his care I know he will be able to help me.

Does not prescribe opioids but does injections. Dr. Swank isn’t going to give you refills on your opioids but he is going to try to figure out what the cause of the pain is, and then do what he can to fix it. His office gives very solid instructions for follow up so if you don’t know what the contingency plan is, it’s on you. His assistants call with results right away and Dr. Swank responds to correspondence on the medical chart program right away. Great doctor who really is trying to help people.

No nonsense Doctor. Dr. Swank is interested in finding the source of your pain and trying to address it. Took me 3 days to get an appointment to be seen (AMAZING) and Dr. Swank gave me written instructions for my diagnostic exams, as well as realistic expectations for treatment.
