Dr. Seth Trifiro, MD

I know that he is very busy, but he has always taken the time to listen to me. He always tries to find workable solutions to my medical problems which are severe. He is also very real about understanding the high costs of medications. He tries to find solutions for medicines that I can afford and will be the most helpful. Heck, I seem to be trusting him with my life and I know he will always do right by me.

My mom had an appt. She arrived on time, in fact early. There were signs on the door that they are using a new system and be patient. She waited in line over 15 minutes. Got checked in. After 10 minutes the receptionist that checked in her called her over and told her that the dr said he would not see her because she was late….the receptionist goes on to say, I KNOW YOU WERE NOT LATE and I told him that but he said no you were late and he is not seeing you!! My mother is elderly, has heart issues and NEEDED to see him about some medication issues!!! They cant give her another appt for over a month!! Shame on you Dr Trifiro!!!! If you did not want to work you should have cancelled your appts instead of wasting my mothers time!

Very pleasant individual and his empathy is sincere. Spent the necessary time to layout all the next steps in my care plan.

Please do not believe the negative review I’m not sure what happened with that patient and I’m not saying that they didn’t feel they had a good experience but rest assured Dr. Trifiro is an outstanding cardiologist and so easy to talk to you. He is very concerned about your well-being. He is professional, compassionate and will do anything to help you. He is extremely down to earth and easy to talk with. Believe me I have been through a lot medically and I’m sure at times I drive him crazy with my millions of questions and things but he never makes you feel like you’re a bother. He always lets you know that he’s there for you and that’s hard to find in a doctor these days. I’m very grateful for Carolina East cardiology and the entire team. :-)

The worst experience with a specialist! Very unprofessional! And very unprepared . He tells his patients that he does not go over 15min. With a patient and he blames other doctors for not having his own records complete. Don’t waste your time, find another doctor that is professional.
