Dr. Sever Surdulescu, MD

I've gone to this doctor a handful of times, and it's the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor. Besides the fact that his facilities are worn out and busted, I've never been to a doctor with a worse bed-side manner. He doesn't listen. I had to tell him repeatedly I had tried his recommendations before and they didn't work, but he kept pushing until I finally got upset and almost walked out. I had an appointment scheduled of which I didn't know what it was about, and when I got there it turned out they had jumped the gun on something and scheduled it too early. I still had to pay the copay though. I did a sleep study in his office and it was the worst. It took two hours for the tech to even get to me (at that point it was 10 PM) and I got more of the same nonsense with the tech telling me I may have to do absurd things like, 'get dental work done if the Inspire device hurts your tongue.' I'll be seeing a different doctor from now on.

I was referred to Dr. Surdulescu for asthma & sleep disorder over a decade ago by a relative. Very pleased w/his care, his team of PAs & RN, "Della". Calls are returned, short wait, nice office.????

I have called and left 4 messages, spoke to the front desk once and still have not received an answer to my question or return to my calls. How can they be my doctor if they don’t respond to me at all? What should I do to get a response? How am I supposed to be taken care of as a patient?

I have been very pleased with Dr. Surdulescu. I have been a patient for the last couple years for my sleep disorder. He took time to explain the testing I was going to undergo and then the treatment. The outcome of the tests and treatment have been life changing for me. I am in very good hands.

My primary care doctor sent me to Dr Surdulescu for suspicion of sleep apnea. I was sent for a sleep study through their office which they were able to schedule very quickly. I ended up getting a cpap machine through their office as well and am now feeling so much better. I would definitely recommend.

He told me they take my insurance and he is in my network. Next thing I know I've got a $2500 bill because he was not in my network He told me tough luck, pay or I'll sue. What happened to nice doctors? Is it all just about the money?

I was very happy with my appointment with Dr. Surdulescu. He listened, then sat and explained things to me in a way that could be easily comprehended. Others have treated me as if my problem wasn't significant or real. He did not. We have a tentative plan for treatment going forward.

I have seen Dr. Surdulescu for several years now & he just don't care about my health anymore. He just wants his PA's to take care of your medical problems & they really don't care about your problems either. I just have any trust in this medical practice anymore.
