Dr. Shabnam Zahedi, MD

She's a fine doctor -- highest grade from me! If I could deal with her alone and not her front desk I would still be a patient there. (She's attractive too, which doesn't hurt.) HOWEVER, her deplorable staff books too many patients to be effective. They have a chronic issue of leaving requests for refills from pharmacies unanswered and respond to requests for referrals to specialists weeks too late. The last straw was when they booked me for an optometry appointment without giving the specialist's office my insurance information. Had THEY not called me I might have been presented with a bill for services rendered. Had I agreed to come to their office MONTHLY, like they encouraged me to do, doubtless I would have had to put up with their inefficiency monthly as well! Leaving was easy, but finally being rid of them was still an issue because whereas I transferred to my new office on June 1st, I was only able to get my medical records to my new doctor today, August 6th!
