Dr Rafiq is a very knowledgeable man, and I appreciate that he gives students the opportunity to intern. However, he does not seem to look at the big picture of what is going on with my health. He suggests treatments that are familiar to him but does not seem to have any interest in exploring other options. Frustrating experience.

I had my sleep study in October. It is almost Februray and despite reaching out to him and the DMS I've not only not gotten my cpap, but had no input, direction, guidance or support from him or his office. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.

Dr Rafiq is a subpar at best Dr who doesnt care for his patients. I had an appointment today at 130 - at 247 I asked "how much longer" - he comes in the room - sits down and spends no more than 5 minutes with me - he stated that he needs my records from Mayo Clinic and Hopkins in order to verify that what Im telling his is accurate and not "psychological" - no this is not in my head! - I was there for a migraine - not to unearth some random disease! a MIGRAINE! - I was told to come back in a month for meds - uummmm...... so I walked out! I waited for an 1.5 to be seen for 5 minutes to be "dismissed" - this was not worth my time nor my money! - Apparently all along they "forgot" I was in the exam room and had me confused with another patient - READ MY CHART!! - I see now he has bad reviews allll over the internet - should have done my homework beforehand -

Repeatedly, no one answers the phone. Repeated message scheduling request calls are not returned. Complaint messages left, not acknowledged. Phone voice message system mailboxes continually "full." Primary care provider's office could not get through, either. Seizure diagnosis, medications and restrictions imposed without test results. No follow up after negative tests. Non-informational patient discussions and indifferent/detached attitude.
