He is simply the best. We were recommended by a friend to seek his services, and it turned out to be the best choice we made. He genuinely cares about his patients and is always available to help. Today, my wife, my daughter, and I had appointments with him, and we are very satisfied with the care we received.

Does not take CenCal
I was very happy with Dr Shafi's care, so was disappointed to learn he doesn't want to bother with poor people!I'm a senior who was recently approved by CenCal, and hoped to save over $2,000 a year by using Medicare as primary and CenCal as secondary, canceling my paid part B insurance.UCLA insurance dept assures me that doctors at UCLA accept CenCal. Apparently not all.

Dr. Shafi is a great doctor! He’s very understanding and listens to your concerns. He takes time with the patients to help them with their health issues. Dr Shafi makes patients to feel at ease as well as to feel confident in receiving expert medical care. He is very thorough in ordering diagnostic tests, reviewing medical regimen and necessary vaccinations. Staff is great, too. Walked away, very impressed with the overall experience. HIGHLY recommend.
