If I could give less than one star I would!
Terrible doctor! Went to him for years and he never helped me. Wanted me to do the Sedghi diet and I told him I was swollen & bloated. Had colonoscopy in Nov 2024 and he said everything looked fine. Two months later had to have ER surgery and part of my colon removed. Almost died!

I love Dr Sedghi straight up, Dr.
Yes, you have a long way to have a procedure done, but it's worth the wait because he comes in after your procedure and explains everything to you or whoever you with when you get your procedure done. dr. Sedghi is straight up and blunt

hateful, rude, no bedside manner
He was absolutely rude to me the day of my surgery. He was mad that I had to pee when they came to get me for surgery, got an attitude with me about it. He is the worst doctor I have even seen in my lifetime.

Disrespectful of others’ time and money
'Long wait times seem to be a reoccurring theme. I had a colonoscopy and was there for over 6 hrs for this procedure. SIX HOURS. He knows you can’t leave bc who wants to go through that prep again? After the procedure, i waited another 2.5 hours to discuss my results with him! I asked 4 members of the nursing staff separately if these wait times were normal for him and 3 of them sheepishly admitted that yes, they were. He over packs his schedule regularly, showing no concern for patients’ time. I would never recommend him to anyone. The other thing was that all my tests cane back normal, so i was diagnosed with “sphincter of odi” dysfunction, which just “happens” to be what his dissertation was on. Wonder what percentage of his patients have it. He’s still willing to operate on you, even though surgery works less than 20% of the time for it. Sounds fishy to me. My symptoms went away after realizing it was anxiety related, praying more often, & adding in a short walk after meals.

My appointment was made last week and they did not tell me how much the deductible was till I arrived. Plus, I wasn't seeing the doctor it was a consultation only. I was caught off guard and they did not try to work anything out. I offered to pay half. Instead, I was told to reschedule.

Great doctor, bad office staff.
Dr Sedghi is an amazing doctor, he WILL find out what is wrong with you. The problem lies with his office staff, who don't don't answer the phone, don't return phone calls, and don't even put patient information into their system correctly. When you do get someone to answer the phone, they have a bad attitude. Sad.

Needed to schedule another colonoscopy but found out he does not see patients in Bibb County. If I was hospitalized and needed my gastroenterologist, he is unable to come see me in the hospital. NOT OK

This was my third procedure with Dr. Sedghi. I have nothing but good things to say about he and his staff. Scheduling has always been straightforward. Office and medical assistants courteous and professional even when very busy. Today’s procedure involved a longer than normal wait time but the nurses and technicians did everything they could to make things comfortable. Delays happen during medical visits. Dr. Sedghi is very direct and to the point in a professional manner. I appreciate his manner and thoroughness and highly recommend his practice.

Long phone hold times..leave a message..they never call back and when they do it’s with an attitude....test results..they keep you waiting..they just make you come in and over and over so they can keep billing the insurance company yet with no real answers. It’s one of the most frustrating experiences we have ever had. It’s all about money and insurance. Unnecessary tests and unnecessary office visits. Questions without answers. I can’t say loud enough..stay away from this awful place.

I waited 1 hour 45 minutes for a consult. I finally made them refund my copay and left. It was beyond ridiculous. The staff showed no concern or compassion. If you are going to leave people waiting that long at least get comfortable chairs!!

My experience with Dr. Sedghi was not so bad. However, you only get about 5 minutes with him. But the staff was a totally different story. They were the rudest people I've ever met in a Dr. office. Because of the staffs rudeness, I tried to change Dr's. But guess what? They refused to release my records and refused to release me as a patient. I never went back. I still have my medical issue unsolved. I've contacted other Dr.'s but they tell me I have to be released by Dr. Sedghi first.

I thank God for Dr Sedghi! I had no idea I had colon cancer but I did. He did not waste any time getting me set up with all the scans and tests before sending me to Dr Jay Singh at Peidmont Atlanta. I have never had anything handled so professional and with compassion. Today I’m cancer free! It’s total amazing how everything ran like clock work. He is in my opinion the very best and he will also send you to the very best surgeon and hospital there is. Thank you Dr Sedghi, staff and Dr Singh for saving my life!

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Sedghi and his entire staff. After my first endoscopy his diagnosis was Barrett's esophagus for me. He gave me instructions of following up with a yearly endoscopy to watch for any changes in my biopsy results. He also gave me a diet to follow. Along with his diet suggestion and another diet that drastically reduces red meat and other reflux inducing foods I was able to lose 30 pounds and keep it off for over a year. My latest endoscopy was great.
