Dr. Shakeel Raza, MD

"Treated" my child in the hospital. He never spoke to us (the parents) for the entire week our child was in the hospital. He did not return one phone call of ours the entire time my child was in the hospital. His assessment was brief, vague, and unhelpful. This was at the Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire.

Met him maybe 2 years ago at west oaks hospital. He started me out on medications and his assistant Sunni modified them. this was the only positive opportunity with a psychiatrist and team. Yes we did about symptoms and signs however afterward his assistant really took a genuine interest in me and with that approach I was able to realize more about myself and what I could do to help myself better. I look forward to working again with his team at the Excel Katy program. I start Monday. I’m hoping I can get a real diagnosis. Not a make shift one. No more wastebasket diagnosis. I’m not going to let them speculate or just observe my behavior at time of questioning . I’m going to try to be as honest as I can. I know this team can help me.

He made a fake bill for me after I was seen at a hospital.

He is horrific in every sense of the word. I question if his medical license is even authentic. If it is, it should be permanently revoked. Compassionate physicians do not hire multiple physician assistants, in my opinion. He merely pays others to assess his clients and collects the money.

I find MD Raza to be extremely rude, unethical and careless towards his patients. He does not take the time to listen to patients concerns, he is not honest about the plan of care for his patients. MD Raza does not even address the plan of care with patients, he is dismissive of your concerns and treats petients in a condescending manner. He uses his MD authority to take advantage of his patients difficult situations. Dr. Raza is rude and makes threatening statements if he disagrees with patient

Not trustworthy physician, all he did was just sat there and wrote something down. There was no advise nor suggestion for improvement. I didn't get helped I deserved seeing him. It seemed he wanted patients to be more sick so he could keep them locked up for a longer payment for $$$. This doctor is dishonest and so does his assistant. Do yourself a favor, see a different doctor because you will get no help from them further more they will make you sicker and dope you up with dangerous drugs.

Dr. Raza is very experienced and takes your care very seriously. His team is very helpful and is able to give complete understanding of your care. I have been recommending him to my colleagues facing high stress and anxiety at work.

My friend saw this doctor. He is irresponsible and unprofessional . He didn't spend time with patients and was very rude and brief to my friend. Don't see this person. Invest your time and trust your health with other better physician. I will not recommend this physician.
