I had an unfortunate experience of being misbilled for an annual well visit. This office has a tendency to miscode the visits which results in incorrect charges. This has happened to me before couple of years ago, which thought me the lesson to always recheck how my appointment was coded before I see the doctor. This April during my annual physical it happened again, and asked them to correct the error before I saw the doctor. After the visit, I was billed as a sick visit. Dr. Shanda McManus refused to correct the mistake. Even my insurance made more efforts to call the office to have this error corrected. I ended up with $120 bill for a free insurance-covered service, a prescription for blood work (proof of the type of visit) and countless of hrs spent on the phone to have this corrected... Despicable! Not worth it... There are better MD offices out there. Steer clear!
