Dr. NHO is very professional, always shake your hand and ask how are you doing ? Well dressed , he explains everything to you he makes sure you understand . he goes over all your options s and test results with . I definitely would recommend any one with knee problems to go to him!

I appreciated how swiftly the appointment ran. I was very promptly taken from the waiting area to have X-rays and then off to get vitals done and met with Dr. Nho’s PA Ryan. She and I discussed the issues I’ve been having and shortly thereafter Dr. Nho joined her and was up to speed on my main concerns and symptoms. He did a physical examination and made recommendations for a conservative treatment approach to begin with. I appreciate that he is not quick to suggest aggressive treatments. Overall, I was incredibly pleased with my experience. I thought everybody that I met with was very professional and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this practice to others suffering hip issues.

I went to Dr. Nho after another doctor dismissed my ruptured ACL as nothing worth fixing because I was barely over 40. Dr. Nho immediately took me seriously and got me scheduled for surgery so that I could meet my goal of getting back to an active lifestyle. His repair and rehab protocol had many people telling me how amazingly I healed. About a year later I went to see Dr. Nho for what I thought was nothing, almost apologetic. He took me seriously, spent time answering all of my questions about his recommended course of treatment, and as a result I feel better than I've felt in years. Thanks to these experiences, I never hesitate to recommend Dr. Nho to anyone who needs an orthopedist.

Dr. Shane Nho changed my quality of life. He believe me when I said I was in pain. Other practices dismissed my concerns while Dr. Nho took me seriously. My surgery went great and my post operative care was fantastic from his entire staff. I am grateful everyday that I trusted Dr Nho with injury.

Dr. Nho cares I bought his patients. The doctor has performed my hip and shoulder surgeries and I have seen tremendous improvement since. I was at a different orthopedic practice that wanted to rip my hip out in my mid 40s. After visiting Doctor Nho for a second opinion, I instead had outpatient procedure that has significantly improved my mobility. After hurting my shoulder at work a few years back, I went back to him which resulted in surgery that went quite well! His medical team and MOR physical therapy team are all top-notch! I cannot say enough good things all around. However, it is obvious that his practice has grown tremendously over the last several years and the amount of time the doctor has to spend with each patient is shortened significantly. While many want to be coddled when they are in pain, which I can understand, trust his opinion and his expertise to help you feel better. He is not condescending, I just feel that he is very rushed. Trust his medical advice!

Minimal wait time. Both PA and Doctor were very nice and prompt.

After spending 2 hours filling out, in detail, all the questions he wanted answered, I felt he never read them. His summary in my chart was opposite of everything I answered. His PA was more on the ball than Dr. Nho. The doctor came in a few minutes after the PA, didn’t ask many questions, he asked me to stand up and get on the exam table. The pain I’m living with is so bad, I need at least 5-10 minutes to move once I stand. My hip locks up, hurts like xxxx then I can finally move. (Out of breath at this point.) He pulled up my MRI and x-ray, went so fast to explain things (I still don’t understand), said I need total hip replacement, but he does not do that surgery. He said the checkout desk people will make me an appointment with a surgeon and was out the door. By the way, the “exam” was worthless. I felt extremely rushed and lower than the bottom of my shoe. Like I wasn’t good enough for his time. I was too upset to ask questions.

Dr Nho is the third surgeon I have seen about my hip and finally I feel like I got straightforward, no BS answers with practical solutions. He spoke to me without being condescending and laid out the situation in language I could understand. He and his team were efficient and considerate of my time. If I have this surgery, I want Dr Nho and his team to do it.

Dr. Nho is personable, competent and knowledgeable. I feel very fortunate to have him as my orthopedic and appreciate being under his care.

I had been a patient of Dr. Nho for prior hip problems but retired and moved out-of-state. I went to see an orthopedic surgeon where I live and in a matter of 5 minutes, he wanted to do a hip replacement. I came to Dr. Nho for a second opinion. After speaking with me, examining my hip and reviewing the x-rays, I was provided with three options, none of which were replacement surgery. I opted for PRP injection and within two days my hip felt great. I am back to running and playing tennis. Dr. Nho has great PAs who assist him.It was my first time at the Oakbrook office and it was amazing. The office runs very efficiently and everything you could need is right there. The staff is friendly and the location is so easy to get to.

Dr Nho and staff are personable and professional. The entire staff is amazing! Dr Nho, however, is an expert in the field, and I would not go elsewhere!

The staff is amazing all around. I’m extremely disappointed because Dr Nho was patient and helpful at my diagnostic appointment and before surgery. At my follow ups he was rushed and condescending and not open to questions. He exhibited arrogance, defensiveness and was actually rude. I have never been condescended to by any doctor. On the other hand, he is a very good surgeon. If you want a very good surgeon, who also has an excellent bedside manner, this is not your guy.
