What a difference!
I’ve lived with ptosis in my right eyelid my entire life. Recently it got much worse to the point it was partially covering my pupil. Dr Merbs was recommended by my retina specialist. The surgery went very smoothly and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Surgery was 2 weeks ago, stitches were removed yesterday and my eyes look similar now for the first time!! Thanks to Dr Merbs!!

Dr Merbs took phone calls during the short consult with my daughter. Her manner was dismissive. Also, information was recorded incorrectly in the file. Also- showing Dr. Oz in the waiting room.

I only went in for a consult about a correctional procedure regarding my lower eyelids. The assistant checked my distance vision and I spoke with Dr. Merbs for 10 minutes who told me she could not help but referred me to another doctor, her husband. I was not told in advance of any charges as most simple consults seem to be no charge, Later, I learned I was charged $230. Medicare reduced the outrageous amount down and paid for most. I was charged the remainder. I won't return to Johns Hopkins

My appointment with Dr Merbs went very well. After having reconstructive surgery for a malignant tumor, I was able to see Dr Merbs. Her demeanor was reassuring and calm. She concisely explained what she could do and discussed potential risks. My wife and I both knew that she was everything and more that Hopkins surgeon could be. The surgery went very well and although I had to drive almost 200 miles to see Dr Merbs, I would travel 20,000 miles to have her expertise again.
