EXCELLENT doctor - very knowledgeable, good manner
I'm VERY impressed with Dr. Phibbs. I went with my partner for his preventive care visit and found her highly knowledgeable, flexible in her thinking, highly responsive, patient when listening, and an excellent communicator. She has a very broad fund of knowledge offered very good suggestions. We both like her manner very much. We both were highly impressed with Dr. Phibbs. I recommend her without reservation.

More concerned w showing me her pics of her Australia trip, w her boyfriend. Said she might move there to practice. Rolled her eyes, when I told her of a severe reaction I had, to something she prescribed me. Said she’d never heard of such a thing. An easy Internet search revealed others had experienced a similar reaction. She was defensive, more than helpful. She dismissed my struggle with chronic fibromyalgia and back pain. Told me to get relief from a cartoon avatar on an iPhone app. I felt that this doctor talked down to me, because I am an older patient. It wasn’t appreciated, and felt disrespectful. I left her office feeling very depressed, and distrusting of doctors. Consequently, have not been to a doctor for well over a year. Not good care.

I met Dr. Phibbs on June 12, 2017, for the first time, when I moved to Bainbridge Island from South Seattle. I couldn'f find a referral from any of my previous health providers and needed a primary care doc. I'm happy to report that I believe I was very lucky to find her. She's a medical professional and a natural teacher. She spent time with me, reviewing my lab results, discussing them, and offering information about how to achieve my fitness goals and improve my general health. Highly recomm
