Dr. Mohling is an absolutely fantastic doctor. BY FAR the best doctor I have ever been to, hands down. After 3 ineffective surgeries for endometriosis with 3 different doctors, I finally found Dr. Mohling and I'm so incredibly grateful. I traveled across the country to have surgery with her, that is how impressed I was with her. She is incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and passionate about helping people. She knew more than any doctor I had been to before and her excision skills were excellent. Top-tier endometriosis surgeon. She was even very supportive and kind with follow up care post surgery. THANK YOU DR. MOHLING. Words can't even describe my sincerest gratitude.

Thank you for changing my life
If you have endometriosis, you have finally made it to the right place. No more fighting to live your life or being told XYZ. Dr. Mohling is here to listen.. and I mean really hear you. My hope is these amazing brave surgeons can raise the bar for the care we all receive. We know change is needed. The disease is complex and it needs the expert skills both of these surgeons have. Stage 4 endo and I was a mess in there. Two years prior, I had a surgery with a regular GYN that did not have the skills to handle the complexity of my case. I had my first ER trip after that and life got harder. I never knew how good I could actually feel.. and all it took was a 5 hour surgery a short 9 weeks ago. My life was changed after that day. The years and years of playing doctor are over. If you are here, choose you. There is hope and she proves time and time again you can feel better. She is worth the wait. Terrible Experience, Very Dismissive
Dr Mohling is very cold. She is dismissive, & told me that my endometriosis wasn’t “that bad” even though it causes me excruciating pain everyday. The pain ruins my life. Considering she’s an “endometriosis specialist” she should know that the look of it in photos/stage doesn’t correlate to the pain that people feel a lot of times. She showed up 10 minutes late, & then took a phone call during it which wasted another 5 minutes. I get being busy, but that’s inexcusable. On top of that, she’s told me that i’m “so heavy” (i have a metabolic condition) & “if you cut carbs your endo will get better.” that’s not how endo works. It doesn’t just get better by cutting out carbs. I’ve tried. I would not recommend her. She had terrible bedside manner, & barely answered any of my questions. She rushed me. Also, one of her receptionists is not kind. They don’t even take in-network insurances. Their surgeries are inaccessible to a lot of folks.

terrible experience
i met with her and she dismissed my pain and concerns and overall had awful, awful bedside manner. please save yourself the trouble and go to someone else.

After tens of thousands of dollars and seeing countless specialists with a known endo diagnosis after hysterectomy, I was left in near debilitating pain for 5 years. Dr Shanti is the most empathetic, and compassionate doctor who raises the bar for what patient care should look like. I’m pain free today because of her.

Phenomenal care!!!
I was in daily pelvic pain and recurrent UTIs for 13 years, seeing doctor after doctor who either didn't know how to help or, following a pelvic or urologic exam and didn't themselves see anything wrong, tried to convince me that I was experiencing some form of psychosomatic pain. And then I found Dr. Mohling. Dr. Shanti Mohling is the kind of doctor I had been hoping for and yet at that point, had begun to doubt the existence of. She is an incredibly skilled, compassionate surgeon with expert ability to heal. I am beyond grateful and feel so privileged to have been able to find her and be her patient. She immediately identified my issues during the first exam and took care of them via surgery. It is amazing to consider the number of years I kept hitting walls in the healthcare system and continued to suffer, and how rapidly she honed in on and resolved my drivers of pain. After one exam and one surgery with her, she has very literally made me whole and given me my life back.

When I was referred to Dr. Mohling I was struggling with pelvic pain that was always there, progressively getting worse until I couldn’t work, I couldn’t exercise or have intimacy. Dr. Mohling could see how long I’d been suffering and was determined to figure out the source of my pain, and to then address it immediately. She explained what my surgery would be like in detail, answering all my questions and ensuring I understood what was happening. The amount of compassion she showed me was incredible, she really truly cared to a point that I'm still in shock that a doctor could be that nice! Now a little over a month after my surgery I feel so much better it’s hard to reconcile how poorly I felt before. I felt like she put my needs first; not what was convenient or easy. If you have been told there is nothing they can do for your endo pain, go see Dr. Mohling. You will wish you had found her sooner.

My experience with Dr. Shanti Mohling far exceeds excellent! After having two surgeries over the years, I can say my quality of care has always been filled with warmth, kindness, and respect. Her teams reflect her expertise and compassion. Recoveries have been rapid with minimal pain. Dr. Mohling is a blessing to all her patients!
