Excellent Dermatologist!
I’ve been a patient of Dr. Zellis for over a decade and she is by far the best dermatologist around. She is always incredibly friendly, compassionate, and thorough during her exams. She has a kind and personable bedside manner, and she has been both professional and articulate when answering questions about my skin health. I also appreciate her staff – they are courteous and pleasant! Thank you for my excellent care! Absolutely recommend!

Disappointed
It seems as if Dr Zellis doesn’t even like her job and is bored. She will answer questions but offers no further information… only minimum amount. . She reminds me of a drill Sargent the way she wants you to do something. I will not be going back. I really don’t think she cares about my skin issues. She rates a minus on bedside manner.

will not be returning
She seemed angry and annoyed for the entirety of my visit, was impatient and rushed. If you have any degree of medical trauma, she's not the doctor for you. She pulled down my undergarments without any level of warning and zero discussion of consent and seemed shocked that I didn't already know my own diagnoses. I would not recommend her to friends or family.

I’ve been a patient of Dr Zellis for many years. Her exams have always been thorough, diagnoses are accurate, and treatment plans are effective. The staff is very responsive to your needs. I feel well cared for by Dr Zellis and would not hesitate to recommend her.

Cara Cohen took care of me. She’s a PA and she is great. My complaint is with the office staff. There is a receptionist there named Gina who is rude. She ignored me when I asked about a product they had on sale, and she ignored me at the end of my appointment when I wanted to purchase the product. She actually took people who were waiting in line behind me while I stood there waiting to pay. Fortunately another woman who was working in the back saw me standing and came over and waited on me.

I Feel that Dr. Zellis and her staff are the best out there! Dr. Zellis found the melanoma on me and referred me immediately to a plastic surgeon. She called me herself and left me her cell phone number if I had any questions. I cannot say enough as to how wonderful this practices and how kind and considerate the staff is!

Find a doctor who is more focused on patient health than office policies! Dr. Zellis refused me treatment for not signing a new office policy accepting the use a collections agency with an additional 25% fee for unpaid bills. My bill payment history was execellent for the 15+ years of her service. Therefore, I didn't feel the need to sign the policy and was refused further treatment. The office manager immediately had me sign a records release form! Very unproffessional and uncaring!

Denied service as HMO PCP wrote referral to Dermatology Specialist instead of Dermatology Associates. My PCP said these errors are not uncommon and Dr Zellis and staff could have easily resolved; lost a few hours of work. Bottom line - the service is terrible and the staff makes poor decisions, is less than helpful and rude. Look elsewhere and save yourself some aggravation. Medical knowledge appears lack-luster and lacks any passion.

Difficult to get appointments. Had biopsy done - got call from dr to schedule 2nd apptmt - called immediately -told had to wait 4 weeks - when you get call to come back for second biopsy - sb able to get in right away-receptionist said- 'you should be ok' - what?!? Called back in couple weeks told 'yes we have opening tomorrow - why didn't they call me. Bedside manor is terrible-patient care is not priority - waited 40 minutes in room-went out & asked if they forgot me- getting new dr.
