Dr.Hervey-Jumper explained what was going on in my brain, showed me images from the mri and demonstrated via drawing what was happening. He was patient and thorough and I feel very confident going forward to the next step of testing. Thank you

Best of the best
Dr. Hervey-Jumper is a phenomenal surgeon. He was able to remove my subependymoma in a very difficult location without any permanent side effect. His NP, Ana, is very skilled, compassionate, and helpful. Before meeting him and his extraordinary team at UCSF, we searched the entire country and met with various surgeon from MD Anderson, Mayo, and Johns Hopkins. None except Dr. Hervey-Jumper sounded confident doing my surgery. Furthermore, Dr. Hervey-Jumper displayed such compassion, confidence, and care that made me feel he treats his patients like family. Dr. Hervey-Jumper explained the pros and risks in great detail so we can make an informed decision. He also sought opinions from the tumor board and call me back the next day as promised. He never rushes appointments and listened and addressed my concerns attentively. He makes time to answer all questions when visiting my hospital room. There’s no word that could accurately express my gratitude to Dr. Hervey-Jumper and his team!
