Professional and personable communicator
Helpful office staff, friendly and knowledgeable nursing staff at outpatient surgical sight where procedure was performed. He has a way of connecting with patients and their families assuring them of exactly what he was planning to do. I would recommend his services.

Went for stomach problems-Ran three expensive test and sent cards in the mail stating test are normal- Nurse practitioner was to call and go over results since doctor out of office- No call. I called back and a medical assitant told me all was normal and that my stomach ache was normal too. WHAT! She said did you get a card in the mail. I said yes and she said that is how the doctor communicates. $3,000 later nothing resolved.

Dr. Panzer is a compassionate, empathetic, "old soul" type of doctor. By this, I mean he connects to the patient and their immediate family member/caregiver on a personal level. This trait is often not a priority in today's rushed medical treatment and technology, unfortunately. He listens and answers all questions until you are comfortable with the diagnostic/treatment plan. With Dr. Panzer's expertise training, decades of experience, and impeccable bedside manner, a patient will be in caring hands.

Dr. Panzer on initial visit seemed fine, ordered a few test. Spent 1/2 day having test done at a local hospital. WE were told we would be notified of the results, never happened- *Dr. Panzer never called to discuss the results* although we did ask when having a colonoscopy done , he said he would have to check -. Six weeks later still nothing from his office, after calling several times (Note: prior to Covid) - We then are told issue is kidney stones - then a call saying oh no it was gall stones? OK which is it??? Then a call he was being referred to a different specialist and that practice would be in touch - well you guessed it - no follow up call. We call back again to find out who the referral is to and for what?? As we have no clue based on the conflicting information the office staff provided but Dr. Panzer never followed up or sent a letter. The office staff now shows no record of referring to another surgeon.

I love Dr. Panzer. He is very compassionate, thorough, intelligent. With great bedside manner and he walks you through every step of the way. I had a procedure with him and it could have gone better with him and his staff. I love his office staff and the Baylor outpatient surgery center I couldn’t of had a better experience. I am so very grateful for him. He is very compassionate, thorough, intelligent. With great bedside manner and he walks you through every step of the way. What a fantastic doctor!!! He takes the time with you on the initial visit and explains what he will be doing. He takes you back to the time of Marcus Welby, M.D. His staff is great also. They all treat you like your special. For such a lousy thing to go through, they make it as easy as possible. I'll trust my life to them anytime.

Dr. PANZER is very compassionate and has excellent bed side manners. I had a procedure in June, and could not have had a better doctor. His nurse Cammy is so sweet, now ,there's a new front office person that hardly answers the phone, she talked to me into getting a procedure without even consulting the doctor first, so be careful. If you need a GI doctor I urge you to go see Dr. Panzer.

I called Dr. Panzer's office about 4 times within a week trying to see if I could become a new patient of his but every time I got his answering service and each time they told me they would leave a message for them to call me back but I have yet to receive a call back. His web site shows he is taking on new patients so I have no idea why I can't get a response. Oh, I called during business hours.

All I can say is I am impressed! Everyone that works with Dr. Panzer is compassionate, caring and professional. I have seen MANY doctors in my life but this doctor is awesome. I had a colonoscopy done. Had concerns before the procedure, office staff was very nice and imformative. Had issues with my prep, had to call the after hours on-call number and Dr. Panzer called me back within 5-minutes. He was very down to earth and helpful. Everyone on the day of surgery was over-the-top! Recommended!
