Attentive, Holistic, Referrals for experts
Dr. Roofian met with me, reviewed my chart, listened to my concerns and ensured he had access to my MRIs and went over them with me. He provided options for treatment and referral for an excellent Neurologist. I am grateful and would recommend. You should do your own critical thinking, feel free to discuss your concerns, and consider options. He is available as a great resource and I found him to be professional and helpful. I didn't plan on being hit in a car accident while stopped at a red light, but with physicians like Dr. Roofian I have started on the healing process.

Demeaning, dismissive and disrespectful. Did not listen or allow questions. Patients need to be treated with dignity and respect. That did not happen.

I unfortunately never got past a telephone consultation with Dr. Roofian. Therefore I am not sure if he's good or not. Our telephone consultation seemed fine though. I spoke with Dr. Roofian on May 7, 2020, about getting an epidural for 3 herniated discs I had suffered at the end of March 2020. Two weeks later Edith had still not contacted my insurance company to get approval, in fact as of this morning my insurance company says they still have not received any request from Edith or Dr. Roofian's office for an epidural for me. Here's the kicker, Dr. Roofian has two offices and I had requested the office closest to where I live and the staff took note of that. I had an 8 am appointment this morning, only to find out that Dr. Roofian was at his other office, and in fact, doesn't give injections at all at his valley office (where my appointment was). I don't know how Dr. Roofian gets so much praise on these reviews while his staff, or Edith, totally dropped the ball

Quite possibly the worst doctor I have ever encountered. Ordered tests, but failed to review the results before the appointment, or discuss them with me during the appointment. Everything rushed. Only interested in his narrow window of a possible treatment option. Did not answer questions or explain what appeared to be serious findings. Did not ask me to sit down, he walked in and out of the door of the office during the consultation, even became confrontational, and then abruptly walked out the door saying 'we're done'. I had lots of questions about my serious situation, but was given no opportunity to ask them. After waiting inside his office half an hour, the total time spent with me was about 5 minutes. All this was little different from my initial visit with him which was also conducted standing up, lasted maybe 10 minutes and for which he billed Medicare $1,100. This doctor is a disgrace to his profession.
