Wonderful Doctor
I was lucky enough to have a friend refer me to Dr. Mesgali. She had similar back issues so was great to have doctor that completely understands what my pain is and prescribed meds that actually help. She always listens to my concerns and discusses best remedy. She does tell it like it is. But who would want a primary doctor that doesn't?!I've been seeing her for 4 years and have no plans to leave. Ever.

My son was sick Friday, I called the office they said “we close at 2:30” it was 1:30 at the time and I couldn’t make it. The desk suggested I bring him to urgent care and follow up visit with dr. Mesghali the following week. I asked because of my work schedule to be seen Wednesday, they made an appointment and I proceed to bring my son to urgent care that next morning. Today is Wednesday, my son is feeling better (not contagious, not sick) - I walked into the office and the front desk asked if he was sick, I said no she then laughed. We were called for him to come into the office and the medical assistant asked if we had a mask, I said he is not sick and doesn’t need a mask. We were placed in the room, vitals were taken ; no fever everything else was okay as well ; medical assistant said the doctor would be in shortly. The doctor then comes in and says “why am I here” explained to her he is still sick and has the same symptoms as the last time she saw him on 7/17. Explained to her he went to urgent care Saturday was prescribed the same antibiotics and I am here for a follow up. Last time my son was at her office she did two tests on him flu and Covid both of which came back negative. Urgent care did strep and it was presumed strep. I was there for a follow up appointment. She stood there with her arms crossed and said I still don’t know why he’s here ; I explained again. Nothing but attitude and dismissive from her. I let her know his tonsils are touching and there’s something wrong. She said she doesn’t know what she wants me to do. She told me I was a liar that her desk never set up this appointment, that she never prescribed My son antibiotics for 1.5 weeks….when I went to her!!! I asked her what the issues was and said because my son isn’t sick and I don’t have him masked is that why you are treating me badly and with such attitude? She said her policy was sick patients must wear masks. I responded my son isn’t sick so he doesn’t need a mask “so you are telling me you are treating me this way and won’t give my son services because is he not wearing a mask”? She said yes that’s exactly why. My 87 year old grandmother was there my SEVEN year old was there. She said you can leave as she was walking out the door. As I had some words for her, her medical assistant was trying to slamming the door in my face. I never have experienced a medical doctor refuse services of a child or speak to a parent this way. She profiled me and my child, she denied her services and questioned me why I was there when her desk was the ones who set this appointment up. Horrible experience I will let everyone in the city, county and be writing a letter to the medical group of the type of doctor and her assistant they have. I should’ve listened to a couple of moms who had a similar interaction. She is a cold, rude, undermining person in how she treated me. And my family ; signed an ant fry mother.

Dr. Mesghali has been my dr for years & I always felt very fortunate to have her. She’s absolutely brilliant and truly listens to her patients. Last summer at 40 I found a lump and she saw me that day. She fought to make sure I received diagnostic testing immediately. She personally called to tell me I had cancer instead of leaving me waiting for days for the surgeon to follow up. She made sure I had the best oncologist and team in place within days. She has been there by my side each step, day or night. She’s brainstormed with me multiple times to help me process & understand the overwhelming amount of info I was getting so I could make informed decisions with confidence. I definitely couldn’t get through this without her. She goes above and beyond, is loving, understanding, and most importantly very real. She doesn’t tell me what I want to hear, she tells me what I need to hear, even if it’s hard. I absolutely adore her & her staff and don’t think you could find a better primary dr.

I recently moved to the area and had my first appt with Dr. Mesghali. She has brusque demeanor and was rude in her questioning. When I stated I felt as if I was being attacked, she became even more abrupt. When checking out, I asked the front desk staff if I could see the other doctor in the practice. They stated that was not done. I asked if there was an optimum way to handle appts with Dr. Mesghali, and I was told I could find another physician.

After my first visit with this doctor I was very happy. Several months later I made an appt to discuss sinus and sleeping issues. The doctor was rude, condescending and seemed to be in a hurry to leave. She ended up walking out of the office and telling me to find another doctor, she could not help me. I was confused and embarrassed. I've never experienced anything like this. The whole experience was surreal. I did however, take her advice and have found a doctor who IS interested in helping :)

Dr. Mesghali has been my 3 y/o son's pediatrician for almost 3 years. He had a rough start in life; born premature, in & out of hospitals for about 50 days & having a close call in losing his life. When we came to her, I was suffering from PTSD. She was positive, reassuring & wise. She consistently calmed my fears & reminded me that he is fine & healthy now. I now have 2 sons. She is excellent w/ them both. She's extremely knowledgeable, friendly & approachable. She's become apart of our family

Does NOT listen. Is quick to condemn other doctors that have/are treating you. AVOID this doctor if you are being treated by the VA and are happy with the VA's service, as she obviously does NOT like them. We changed to a doctor that is very willing to work with the VA.
