missed the point of appt
Dr Sheela Patel Vyas wanted to do STD tests for my appointment. The whole purpose of visit was for routine physical and to order blood labs. All STD test came back negative and she completely forgot to order my routine annual blood labs. Lots of discrimination.

Dr. Patel was a good listener. She was pleasant, personable and interested in my health. She provided new and important information about my throat aneurysm. She explained why she wanted a follow up test and how she would use it to determine possible treatment.

Avoid this doctor!
Just had my first visit with Dr. Patel Vyas and I will absolutely not be returning to her. She had a horrible bedside manner that made me feel very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Conversing with her was like talking to a zombie or robot that had no capacity for feeling, joy, or compassion. She minimized all of my health complaints and even made me feel that she didn't believe any of the diagnoses that I've been dealing with in recent years. Doctors like her are why women feel that their pain and experiences are not valid. I hope people see this and are warned against wasting their time and energy visiting her.
