Excellent! Dr. Ramirez is very compassionate and she listens to you. She cares about what is happening and is good at getting back to me. The office is always accommodating and returns calls promptly. I have even gotten emails because they wanted to make sure I knew what was happening. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.

This Endocrinologist listens, drops everything to attend to an emergency call, and adjusts medications directed on what you tell her. Be totally honest and she can assist you in finding the proper amount of insulin or other medications. With her for 8 years, and am a Very happy patient!

Might be a great doctor for elderly patients with diabetes... stay away if you are being treated for a thyroid disorder. This woman had me over medicated and under medicated constantly. Never even tried to figure out why my dosages wouldn’t work out. This went on for a few years until I finally had enough. I found a new doctor that is working on an actual management plan that will hopefully keep my levels from bouncing up and down so much.

Long wait for poor medical assistance. Go out of state to VA or MD for a good endocrinologist. Dr. Ramirez is in WV because she she is not good...

I haven't had the opportunity of seeing the Dr yet. Unfortunately, I'm not sure I will stick around to do so either. The receptionist is VERY rude. Also, my referral was sent in May and I am not able to be seen until October. I am to be seen for a rather urgent matter. To make matters worse, I have been calling for a week, several times a day and it continues to go straight to voicemail with NO returned call when you leave messages. The Dr may be wonderful, but the business aspect of this is not

Unfortunately I never had the opportunity to see the dr.. I was meet with the rudest receptionist I have ever dealt with in a drs office. I considered my need to be urgent and was brushed off and was told 1st available appt would be August. This is May and I have all the symptoms of having type 2 diabetes. I also deal with non working thyroid
