L5S1 issues
Over the years Dr. Dagam has been treating me for lower back issues trying to use non invasive methods. Last year in November he operated on my lower spine. He and his staff have been very professional and reassuring. I'm back to bowling and able to do daily tasks with much less pain. Thanks so very much, Chuck Woodring

Back surgery
Dr. Dagam was very honest and straightforward. He was interested in my concerns and wishes. He explained everything that was done afterward. He gave me all my options and potential problems associated with these choices. He was genuinely concerned about me. I highly recommend him and his staff.

I would recommend Dr. Dagam
Dr. Dagam listened to me and he offered the least invasive procedure. I am two years out of surgery and I am doing great. He has been the most compassionate surgeon and his staff was wonderful.

With a history of back surgeries involving fusions, laminectomies, rods and fusions and implanting a spinal cord stimulator (for pain), looking back at all he has done for me, I am pleased and thankful for his skill and compassion. This last surgery was very complicated but happy to say I am feeling much better. His staff is very attentive and caring both in and out of the hospital. I would recommend Dr. Dagam to anyone. After suffering for two years with back nerve pain related to several back issues I found Dr. Dagam and he offered a solution with back surgery. I was very apprehensive about surgery but felt confident after talking with Dr. Dagam and what he described could be done. It has been a little over a year now and all went as expected. I am now without nerve pain and most back pain and am able to walk several miles and do the things I could not do for two years.

I had spinal fusion surgery over a year ago, and I could not be more happy. Before the surgery, I had constant pain that was very limiting. Following Dr. Dagams game plan, I am able to ride my bicycle every day and up to 40 miles at a time, I am able to Kayak and hike up to 12 miles at a time with a small backpack. He gave me back my life. I am 63 and in good health, and Dr. Dagam did a great job managing my expectations and was very thorough. I am very pleased with the surgery, with the recovery, and with managing my post surgery activities. He was excelent.

Dr. Dagam was very thorough on his first visit of explaining to me what was causing the shooting pains down my legs. He showed me what the MRI exposed as the problem and then proceeded to detail what needed to be done. Dr. Dagam presented me with a couple of options and was very patient in explaining to me all the pros and cons of each option. He never seemed rushed, but truly wanted to allay my fears about the back surgery I was to undergo. The surgery was six months ago and the recovery is progressing in the time-frame that he had led me to believe. The two-year follow-up is also an indication that he wants the best for his patients.

My husband had his neck fused by Dr. Dagam 2 months ago. It went extremely well. He is the nicest, kindest and most knowledgeable doctor we have ever met. I wish he could be our only doctor for everything. No doctor compares. Any questions, text me at ileetaoffice@aol.com. Thank you.

Dr. Dagam is compassionate and wants to know what *you* feel is best for you as well as telling you what he's able to do for you and what the consequences are to whatever is going on with you and your treatment options. He doesn't just jump in and take over, he involves the patient in their own treatment as far as what the patient is comfortable with as far as options and follow up. When my regular doctor told me he was sending me to a neurosurgeon I panicked. The word neurosurgeon was scary (honestly I thought neurosurgeons were only for brain surgery - eeeeeks!) but Dr. Dagam took all the fear out of my mind and he and his staff took very good care of me. I feel that considering the kind of surgery I had and my age (65) I'm recovering well and quickly. I don't think one can go wrong if they choose Dr. Dagam.

Dr. Dagam did a laminectomy on me for a condition called drop foot. I had surgery in August 2018. I was able to lift my foot again immediately after surgery and went for a walk with my brother the next day. Thank you Dr. Dagam!

I haven’t had back pain since the surgery. I felt Dr. Dagam had my health and well-being as his primary focus since my first appointment with him on January 9, 2019. Thank you so much for your early diagnosis and treatment, making me pain free in such a short period of time. I am extremely satisfied with the care Dr. Dagam provided. Thinking of how my life might have been without 17 years of back pain and being over-prescribed pain medication brings this 74 year old man to tears. I’ll always be grateful for having you as my medical provider. And would highly recommend you! Thank you for giving me my life back! I have consistently sought out medical treatment, attention, advice, and medication, to relieve my back pain. The results were the same, stronger pain meds taken more often and getting no relief. I tried acupuncture, chiropractor, massage therapy, pain management clinics, physical therapy, various exercises, and more pain meds.

After sustaining a neck injury in an automobile accident I went through physical therapy took different medications to eliminate the pain to no avail. My Neurologist ordered an MRI and after review recommended surgery, however, mentioned the potential risks and rewards. Dr. Dagam was highly recommended not only by my Neurologist, but 2 other Physicians I visit regularly. I was convinced after my 1st consult with Dr. Dagam that if I do decide to go forward with surgery he would be the Surgeon to perform it. His approach in explaining the procedure was very pragmatic, void of any pressure or urgency, leaving me to make an informed decision. I also learned that severe shoulder pain I was experiencing, as intense as a previous torn rotator cuff, was most likely from my neck. Waking up from my 5+ hour procedure my shoulder was pain free and my recovery from the very complex surgery was in a fraction of the time he warned me it could be. I'm convinced Dr. Dagam is an extraordinary Surgeon.
