My son had to have emergency surgery for a broken hand. The hospital took all of our insurance information and we were told to show up at Primary Children's Hospital at 6 am the next day for surgery. We spent about 10 minutes with Dr. Furst. After the surgery we found out he is not in our network. We were not told this information before surgery. My insurance company offered to pay the amount that they would have if Dr. Furst had been in network. They refused and have since sent me to collections to have the remaining balance paid as if I never had insurance. I have spent months trying to work with them. Horrible people.
