Dr. Sheldon Wasserman, MD

I had a traumatic first birth experience with my baby ending up in NICU and a Cesarean. We initially wanted to go to a BirthCenter but because of our insurance we would have needed to pay upfront and I was hesitant to go back into the hospital scene. We found Dr. Wasserman on a FB group for women and VBACS and I just went for it. He is a goofy guy and pretty much hands off. He knew how much a VBAC meant to me and was all for it with no questions and also no pressure as I told him how I was late for my first birth he assumed I would go late again and at 41 and 3 days I finally went into labor - He showed up several times to check on me during labor and literally showed up in his polo for my delivery - and was INCREDIBLE helping motivate me through it! We had a few scary heart rate moments when epi was introduced and easily could have done a c-section but he held strong and knowledgable. I am so grateful for him. It wasnt perfect but I had my Vbac and he allowed me to make decsions

Transfered to his care after a bad prior experience with a different provider. Attempted a vba2c. He is a phenomenal human being.

Successful VBA2C! Dr. Sheldon Wasserman delivered my son in 2021 as a successful vaginal birth after I had two emergency c-sections in a different state with two different providers. Dr. Wasserman is the most incredible, supportive, and experienced obgyn I have ever had. When I moved to Wisconsin I was looking for a provider that would be open to doing a VBAC after I had traumatic, unplanned emergency c-sections with my twins and subsequent singleton. From day 1, Dr. Wasserman was not only supportive, but encouraging and so positive about my decision to have a VBAC. He never questioned it and allowed me to feel in control of my body and choices throughout the entire pregnancy and birth. The birth of my fourth child with Dr. Wasserman was one of the most incredible experiences of my entire life. He gave me the respect and support that all women deserve during the birth of their child. He also never made me feel rushed during appointments; multiple times I brought questions that I had

I switched doctors very late in my high risk pregnancy, and it was a risky decision that I was very uneasy about. It ended up being the best decision I could've made. Dr. Wasserman is a caring, compassionate doctor who genuinely cares about each patient he sees. He takes his time at each appointment and does not make you feel rushed. I absolutely would (and do) recommend him to anyone and everyone!

Today was my firs time seeing Dr. Wasserman. His staff was very friendly and had a very professional manner. Dr. Wassmerman His self was extremely nice. I think I'm going to like seeing him.
