I have seen many fabulous ophthalmologists in my long life because of problems with my eyes. In a new town, Austin,TX, I saw Dr Day Ghafoori and was stunned and so disappointed. She only saw me for 3 minutes and very nonchalantly as she was headed for the door misdiagnosed me with a disease that could have cost me my sight!! I was terrified. BEWARE!!!!!

The best eye doctor!!

My visit was at 10:15 and I was taken in for tests at that time. I was finished with my visit in less than an hour. Very efficient staff and very personable. Dr. Day is an excellent doctor and so sweet.

I have been seeing Dr. Day for several years,. She is very personable and is knowledgeable about my particular eye problem. I feel I am in very good hands under Dr, Cathetine BridgesDay’s care.

I have been a patient of Dr Day since 2016, when I got diagnosed with cancer in my left eye. She saved my eye and does monthly injections to continue to save my eye. She is absolutely amazing and the nicest and kindest doctor I have ever had. Anyone that sticks a needle in my eye and I trust must be amazing. The other plus is her husband is my oncologist. Even my doctor that did my cataract surgery said I am extremely lucky that Dr Day is in Austin because she is the best at what she does. Thank you Dr Day!!!!

Most efficient office I have ever seen, totally astounded how quickly we moved from 1 work area to another, all staff totally prepared, yet it seemed unhurried with total concern for the patient.. Dr Day-G is so great. I had some key questions about some meds, Dr Day- G answered each concern clearsrly and patiently, a consummate professional in every way. On t he other hand, this survey was annoyingly hard to input or correct, so I know Dr Day had nothing to do with it! I struggled through just because she is the best example I can think of how s Dr should run her office and how to interact with patients.

I've been seeing Dr Day for several years now and every interaction I've had with her have been exceptional from laser surgery to simple follow up exams. She takes the time to explain everything. Would highly recommend.

I believe Dr. Ghafoori is a very good physician; however she spent very little time with me yesterday at my appointment. She was probably with me at most 1 minute and it would have probably been less if I hadn’t asked her a couple of questions. She needs to be more interactive with her patients, not just come in, do her exam and leave quickly without saying much.

She does a very thorough exam and explains well. She used an eye model and pictures of my eye to show me the comparison of normal eye and my eye issues. Also provided a paper for me to understand as well.

Dr. Day is a true professional that takes the time to answer any questions and provides answers that are easily understood. Her office has many other Drs. and at times can seem rushed but she is always pleasant and efficient.

The Doctor is very professional and very nice. She seams to be very good at what she does.
