First visit
My Dr. Of 20 years retired. I read the Sutter reviews to decide and chose Dr. Eder. My initial visit was very pleasant and she is very personable. We discussed all my info and she is very thorough. Needless to say, I Picked the right Dr.

She takes time to learn your problem. Never over prescribes or suggest a specialist unnecessarily.

Waited 1 hour and 15 min to see her today and left after that bc of how ridiculous that was. When I went to inquire at the desk - they told me the assistant who brought me in to the room had gone on lunch. And the waiting room was empty. This was my first visit and last.

At first, it seemed like she was great. Responded reasonably quick, and gave an explanation for appointments as well as a little personal opinion. If for nothing else, showed me she was actually thinking about my situation. Now, it takes forever to get an email response via the portal, and I've repeatedly got the most basic non-answers to my questions. I waited over a week to just get an in-depth answer after several tests, and a staff member had to email back. Instead, I just basically get "Found this, go to this appointment here, and we'll talk more once your tests are done". I feel I'm just being sent places for money, and isnt listening to my concerns. To those who've had good experiences beyond in-person visits, I envy you.

Good bedside manner when in office. However, unavailable to explain test results on multiple occasions. Emails are vague and unhelpful. Wanted me to sched. appt for questions re: test report, instead of a 5 min call. Might be good for her time mgmt, but not a patient-centered approach. I tried to resolve concern by complaining to staff and requesting a call. They sent her a detailed message, but even then, she had a nurse call. It left me angry and with unanswered questions about my health.
