Amazing Pediatrician
She always takes time to answer all of our questions. She is thorough and always very kind. Her nurse Erin is absolutely amazing too! Our children love Dr Nelson!

Caring and helpful
Very happy with our visit to Dr. Nelson. We were not waiting around for too long at any point, and she had so much helpful advice about caring for my sick infant. She listened and answered any questions I had.

Pediatrician
We have seen Dr. Nelson for 6 years now, with both of my boys. She has an amazing bedside manner, really listens to concerns, and isn't pushy at all! She also coordinates care with 4 specialists my youngest sees, and stays on top of his rare medical conditions. She, and he nurse Erin, are absolutely amazing!!!

Dr Nelson has been taking care of my kid since 10 days after they were born. She is very skilled, clearly cares about her patients, and takes my concerns as a parent very seriously! Would recommend to any family.

Best Pediatrician
We absolutely LOVE Dr. Shelley Nelson! She is compassionate, caring, and so intelligent and patient. We never feel rushed or like another number, she always speaks with my daughter in language she can understand and cares about her as a whole, developing person. Her staff is always kind and helpful and my daughter feels comfortable and safe in their care. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Nelson is not a diligent or thorough provider! She is a “wait and see” provider. At our son’s 4 mo check up she minimized his head flattening on one side and finally at his 6 mo check up made a referral for a helmet per my firm request. My son now has to spend 3-5 mos in a helmet which could have been shortened had she acted sooner. She missed his neck tightness (torticollis) to the side he is flat on in every physical examination since birth. Additionally, at the time she made the helmet referral did not also make a PT referral. She is not thorough and not a proactive provider who listens to her patients concerns.
