Poor listening skills, curt tone and unhelpful
This is a review of an involuntary encounter I had with this doctor. I had submitted online a question to my PCP (not Shelli Bodnar) requesting clarifications on the specifics of an upcoming blood test since these were not properly documented in the online EPIC system. Unfortunately, my PCP was out that day, and Shelli chose to respond with a curt message that clearly showed she had not understood what was being asked, and then she adds that I should look at the online portal for the (non-existent) answer to my question. So I responded clarifying that I wasn't an idiot, that the portal didn't have the necessary information and perhaps we could let my PCP respond after he returned to the office. She responded with a weird non sequitur 'these are the facts, not my opinion' message, at which point I gave up and asked her to stop communicating with me further. After that, I didn't hear back from the PCP either so I had to apply my own judgment based on google searches.

Rude and unprofessional front desk
Rude and unprofessional front desk who treats you like they are doing a favor. Makes scheduling a nightmare and scheduled an appointment at 4.45 knowing their office closes at 5. And turned as away when we showed at 4.45. Lacking compassion in the conversation. If you want it, take it attitude. Won’t recommend this office bec of the rudeness of the front desk and the difficulty in getting an appointment. Messed up more than once.

Worst Rip off I’ve ever had!
American health care system is by itself a money mending industry and this particular PCP on top of all of that was trying to make money from me after I said I’m coming in for an annual physical. She insisted that this was a New Patient visit and would not do my physical for which Washington Hospital and the clinic charged me $25 and would only get my physical done on their schedule. On top of all my complains that I filed, the hospital or the doctor never spoke to me. Never go to a PCP who is saying it’s a New Patient visit cuz they might not do a physical. Insist on knowing what your appointment is before you go and never go to her cuz he is making $600 or more of you because she wants to meet you and that makes no sense cuz I ain’t marrying her or anything. She is not my best friend and this is the rip off I’m writing about.

Before switching my Primary care doctor, I called and verified with Dr. Bodnar office and confirmed with front desk , they are accepting new patience and this happened on July 7th. After the confirmation I called insurance and add Dr. Bodnar as my primary doctor. On July 8th I called doctor's office to make an appointment. The scheduler said new patient appointment is on October only. I said , I cannot go any other doctor to see because of my insurance is restricted , the scheduler said I have to go to urgent care until October. I asked her you should tell me you are accepting new patient , but the appointment is after 4 months away? She disconnect the phone. Very careful to select Dr. Bodnar as a primary care doctor, if you are a new patient. Her appointment is 4 to 5 months away. Very rude front desk scheduler. I have never experienced from any of the facility in US. They are not deserve even one star.

Not only appointment availability is less, but also, she refuses to listen to all the symptoms. Would keep interrupting to say that this is not a full appointment. Just good for referrals. Will not treat/diagnose.
