Dr. Shelli Ridge, DO

Dr. Ridge is great, and first staff is wonderful. She is really good listener. And pays attention to what you tell her

I knew immediately that Dr Ridge was a kind, compassionate, authentic professional from whom I’d receive top-notch care. She is extremely observant, an excellent listener, wonderfully knowledgeable and ever-growing. Her diagnostic and treatment acumen are impressive. I’m so happy to be her patient and highly recommend her.

I was a patient with Dr Ridge for nearly 8 years. She is and was one of the best Doctors I have ever had. I have never felt comfortable around a physician given my history, however Dr Ridge put me at ease and as time went by believed me. Further she was excellent in caring for mu chronic knee pain. So why the low score you ask. I'll tell you. I phone Western Medicine in August to schedule an appointment, to be abruptly met with "Dr Ridge is no longer with the practice" No notice, no nothing after 8 years. She owes me nothing g I suppose. However it has been difficult dealing with the number of replacements I had to scramble ro get to fill that void. I was told she was starting a new practice near Hamilton, but I ha e not been able to find her. If you ha e the good fortune to have her as your doctor you are a lucky person. I'm just never going to trust one again.

Dr. Ridge and her office staff were very pleasant when I first dealt with them in person. However, I had to have bloodwork done and an ultrasound of my thyroid. It took several weeks to get the bloodwork results and over a month of waiting and repeatedly calling her office and getting redirected to a machine to leave a message to finally get my US results. When I did speak to an actual person in the office they were quite rude to me and couldn’t answer my questions. I am told I have thyroid nodules that are millimeters in size, so small I cannot feel them, but I am supposed to “monitor them” on my own with no instructions and no further follow up. Dr. Ridge didn’t even call me herself with any of my results so I never got the opportunity to ask her questions or let her know about my difficulties with her office. Overall, it was extremely frustrating dealing with her and her staff and I am very disappointed. I just established with her but already feel I need to find a new doctor.

I love Dr. Ridge. She is very thorough and spends time with her patients. However, her nurse or MA or whoever she is is arrogant and condescending. Don't ask the assistant a question because she will only send you to the patient portal, which doesn't work properly.

Waited 1.5 hours every visit. She gave me 10min no more. Acted like she was in a hurry. I asked her to test my allergies. Food and environmental. She tested maybe 15 things. Most were things that kids are tested for, not adults. Things like peanuts a cod fish. I know I’m not sick every day of my life from too much cod. This woman Gets as many clients as she can in a day to make a buck. She does not care about you. So if you really need help find someone else.

Excellent doctor. Listens to her patients. Shows true concern. Doesn't mind answering questions.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ridge for the past 2 and a half years. I also followed her from her previous practice to where she is now. She's thorough, explains things well and genuinely cares about her patients. Highly recommended.

Dr.Rigde is so caring and kind. I've never had a doctor that made me feel as comfortable as she does! My husband and kids also see her, I was so happy we found the perfect family doctor for us. Thank you we appreciate you!

I've only seen her once and I'm already impressed with her. Unlike my last doctor, she spent time with me and genuinely listened to what I said. She didn't pressure me in the least and she seems well informed. Hopefully this will be how visits go from here on out.

I have been a patient of Dr Ridge a little over a year. When she moved to Fairborn I never thought twice about following her. She is very comforting and knowledgeable. I am a home care nurse for the State of Ohio and I would recommend her to my patience. What like about her the most; she understands there's no one-size-fit-all medical care

Dr.Ridge is the best doctor I have see so far she is compassionate about her job she takes her time to find out your health issues and shes not open to prescribing lots of pills to heal you if its not needed. I highly recommend you got this doctor!

My sugar and cholesterol levels got worse because she prescribed medicine when I was just prediabetic

Every time I go see Dr. Ridge I'm in there quick. She listens to me and understand me. I really like her.

Difficult to schedule, front desk staff is rude and unprofessional. They prefer to send you to the PA (who does seem to have a better bedside manner than either doctor does).

Thorough and considerate. Took time to listen to me and answered all my concerns. Highly recommended
