She very well may be phenomenal, but there has to be some reason she’s in St Joe. Entrusted my mothers valve replacement with her. In great health and a great candidate in their professional opinion. She regretfully didn’t make it. Not a day goes by when I don’t regret my decision not to get her to Kansas City. Additionally, her post surgery consultation was an absolute disaster. Took her a full minute of self aggrandizement on her efforts before she finally spit out that Mom didn’t make it.

Depends on what she thinks of you
Dr Bansal may be a brilliant surgeon, but I'd never suggest her to anyone. Why? Because she doesn't do her due diligence and get to know her patient, but instead, she makes vast assumptions according to things stated in patient charts. Never verifies if it's correct, either, resulting is terrible treatment from the get-go. This ultimately caused me, personally, a lot of stress and distress when I figured out what really happened - ONE WEEK PRIOR TO OPEN HEART SURGERY, with another surgeon, of course. Point being, this kind of stress and ultimately the resulting anger from my discovery of why I was treated so badly, was definitely not needed nor appreciated in the days before such a major surgery. This is why I'd never refer anyone to her. I'd do the opposite and tell people to avoid her and her assumptions. You can't trust your care to someone who may or may not let emotion and opinions of their patient affect how they treat them at any point in time during their care.
