Dr. Sheri Howell, MD

Had a quite a negative experience with Dr. Sheri Howell. Evidently she was a volunteer to work on a suicide hotline. Basically, she left every little while during our appointment and acted confused about why I was even there every time she came back so I'd re-explain. She was gone maybe 10 to 15 minutes every time she left. I decided I’d try my best to have a good attitude expecting Sheri would apologize and reschedule my appointment. Instead Sheri came back after 3rd interruption and informed me with some annoyance that she’d given me quite enough of her time, beyond what was reasonable really, and that our appointment was over. I was very shocked. But I still was billed. And I paid. I wasn’t feeling well enough during this time period to contest the bill. But essentially I paid for nothing. Was thinking for a bit that maybe everyone deserves a 2nd chance. But to add insult to injury, her receptionist called and said future appts would be “normal” length. Wow!

Dr. Howell saved my life by finding a rare condition that is hard to diagnose.Her nurse is stellar The receptionists are top notch.

Worst doctor ever. I saw her for close to 10 years. She liked to prescribe meds instead of figuring out the underlying medical issues. In addition, I expressed concerns about fertility and she continued to tell me that I was too young to have problems & wouldn't do the proper testing or refer to a doctor that would. I kept going back to her because I figured she knew what she was talking about, I mean she is a doctor. Turns out, I was in peri-menopause during the last few years she saw me. Maybe, if I had been properly diagnosed I would have been able to get treatment & been able to have children. I wouldn't recommend Dr. Howell to anyone ever.

Longtime patient. Several missed medical problems that could have been caught by her, that were missed.
