Dr. Sherri Carter-Wyatt, MD

Thinks she’s the smartest person in the room…while admitting that she just had to look up my injury on the web. She gave me incorrect information, and while I tried being kind about it, she was very argumentative when I corrected her and encouraged her to seek another opinion. When I said I needed to call my daughter’s boyfriend, who is a surgeon, she said, “No. No! Don’t do that. I’ve already called someone!” When I read her post-treatment notes on my visit, she started her notes with, “50yo female with a history of anxiety…” I’m pretty sure my history of panic attacks has nothing to do with the 80+ sea urchin spines stuck in my foot - which is what I was in the ER to have treated - so I’m assuming her comment has more to do with her own ineptitude than my mental state during the ER visit (which she noted as being “normal”). She didn’t know how to fix me, so she didn’t take me seriously, and used my anxiety to signal others to disregard me. She’s a self-righteous bully.

I saw Dr Carter-Wyatt at Springhill Baptist ER and absolutely loved her. She came across as being genuinely concerned about my needs.
