Outstanding doctor has taken care of all of my family members

I was referred to Dr. Burchell by family, and I was very happy with my choice. She took the time to answer all of my questions, and address all of my concerns. The day of my surgery she went over everything again with me, and the surgery went great. My follow-up appointments were nice and she was very thorough in making sure that everything was going well with my recovery. I cannot recommend her highly enough.

While I was visiting a friend I had severe pain, I went to the ER. I was referred to a general surgeon. Dr. Burchell made me feel completely comfortable in a scary situation, she explained everything to me for my appendectomy. I feel she is very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. I highly recommend her to anyone.

Grateful to have had Dr Burchell for gall bladder removal, it made a painful and stressful time much easier with great bedside manner and care.

Filed a complaint with my insurance over this doctors receptionist. She told me she’d call me back to make an appointment. I called HER back two weeks later, and she gave me some bs about getting my records. Then STILL DIDNT MAKE AN APPOINTMENT. Then became downright hostile when I told her I was frustrated she didn’t communicate with me. Ended up hanging up, immediately calling my insurance and switching my surgeon. Filed grievances with all parties that GIVE THIS OFFICE BUSINESS

My primary referred me to this office for a surgery consult yesterday. The receptionist that answers the phone is condescending, passive aggressive, and zero empathy. She did nothing but insult my intelligence and goes off the rails if you dare ask any questions. She cuts you off and plays victim when you call out her nasty phone manners. Refused to book a consult yesterday even though the surgery window is very small and needs to be coordinated ASAP to align with my OBGYN surgery already scheduled. Calls me back today and more of the same rude, cold-hearted attitude. She does not seem to understand that her holier than thou attitude is off-putting and no one would want to book a consult after speaking with her. The face of the office is supposed to make you feel welcome, not insult you. She's in the wrong business. I would not go to this doctor now if she was the last doctor on the planet because of her receptionist.

I had the fortune of receiving life-saving trauma surgery from Dr Burchelle at OC Global. She is truly a great surgeon. The after care visits went very well, and I always received excellent service. I cannot recommend her enough.

My husband was in a horrible car accident. Dr. Burchell took care of him while he was in the hospital at OC Global Med. She was very attentive and had a wonderful bedside manner. She kept his spirits up by joking around with him and always had a smile on her face. She has been very caring and helpful and spent extra time and attention while removing his stitches. I know he will get better quickly because of her support and detailed attention. We are grateful for the way he was treated at OC Glob

At the end of the day, she does not get paid enough by Medical and money hungry just like every other person. Not in the business of helping people.

To Dr. Sherry A. Burchell; surgeon at Orange County Global Hospital. I've never had anyone save my life before June 18th, 2016. That day Dr. Sherry A. Burchell gave me a gift that is given by a person who's purpose is to heal others. There are no words that would be sufficient to express my love and gratitude for such a doctor. My life is whole again because of her loving care for humanity. I will be forever grateful, Kathy Ambrose.
