Dr. Sherry Taylor, MD

She is the complete opposite of warm and fuzzy. I dreaded all my appointments with her. Her approach felt cold to me which made a difficult pregnancy even more anxiety inducing. However, the front desk staff are sweet, there’s never a long wait to see her, and she is the sole doctor at her practice without any midwifes which I like. The only reason I would recommend her is that I had a very easy c section which only took 30 minutes and I never had any pain after. She is a very skilled surgeon and if you prefer a c section she will honor that request.

I switched to Dr. Taylor after having an absolutely horrible experience with Atlanta Women's OBGYN Group. I am SO happy to have found Dr. Taylor! She is kind, respectful, and honest. I had an issue with one of my ovaries (large cyst) and she referred me to an excellent oncologist. She could have performed the surgery herself but wanted me to see an oncologist because the cyst looked suspicious. I appreciated her honesty and her response made me feel that she cares about her patients and isn't in this industry just to make money. As it turns out, she was right and I DID need an oncologist as it was actually a tumor. I am grateful for Dr. Taylor and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for an excellent OBGYN!

Dr. Sherry Taylor has been my doctor for over 27 years, she has always taken wonderful care of me and been there every time I needed her. She takes great concern in spending time with me during our appointments. I respect her so much and appreciate how truly concerned she is with my health.

I arrived wearing a mask. Receptionist, not wearing one, made it a point to tell me "you don't have to wear masks in our office so you can take that off if you want to." The CDC guidelines for Fulton County, GA currently state: "The COVID community level is high. Wear a mask indoors in public." The nurse who called me back was not wearing a mask, nor were any other nurses and personnel that I saw. I asked her why she was not wearing a mask. Her response: The building does not require it and we've all been vaccinated." After it was pointed out to her that people who are vaccinated are still able to contract the virus she said "well, vaccination doesn't work anyway." (MEDICAL MISINFORMATION) My response: All the more reason to wear a mask. When I learned the physician also does not wear a mask, I walked. This is an OBGYN practice with pregnant patients whose pregnancy might be at risk if they got COVID, so flaunting the CDC guidelines puts patients at risk.

I went to her for a couple years. Seems like every visit I got a talking to about your getting older you need to watch what you eat. That’s fair and probably true somewhat but it wasn’t until I went to a different doctor who saw me the first time felt my stomach and pressed down asking if I had pain or tenderness which I replied a little. She proceeds to tell me my uterus is high up in my stomach and she’s pretty sure I have fibroids and orders an ultrasound. Guess who I see now?????

Been her patient for years. Appreciate her genuineness and concern for my overall well being! She did my hysterectomy years ago. Trust her guidance - never steered my wrong.

I can not say enough good things about Dr. Taylor. I have gone to her for over 15 years. She has gotten me through multiple miscarriages as well as seen me through three healthy pregnancies. She has always put me first and has given me all the time and attention I needed, especially in those difficult times. She is the best and and I would not go to anyone else!!!

Dr. Taylor has great bedside manner. She is friendly supportive and well educated. She will help you in anyway possible and makes you feel comfortable!

She takes the time to explain everything and lets you ask or discuss anything you want to discuss. Love the noise machine in the exam rooms to help with anxiety of examination! Her integrity and honesty in determining the best method of delivery, health risks and considerations were a major contribution to the dependence of future decisions pertaining to a healthy birth. The affirmation and reflection of her presence not only proves her word is her bond, but her practice stands to confirm her capacity and wisdom to do just what she does!

This is an amazing practice and they incorporate prevention into their practice too. I have been a patient for over ten years and referred my friends. I work in public health and heathcare so I am picky about my doctors. Overall awesome.
