Horrible trauma therapist
"I once went to McLean. I loved it I had a wonderful team and this Dr. Was head of the women’s unit of Proctor 2. These people saved my life. Dr. W. For over ten years has banned me from this hospital with zero proof I did one thing wrong. For someone who had so much trauma, the second time I was banned because another patient wrote lies to her email including me in the conversation, she believed this other woman’s email. I pray someone at McLean sees this. You guys could have helped me. Dr Winternitz made the wrong choice and because it has been so long I will no longer be silent." Mclean I thank You and my drs for saving my life. I hope one day I can go back. I miss it there. I live in a state with horrible mental health care.

Dr Winternitz and Karen Terk are dangerous as staff members at McLean hospital. They like their authority but lack knowledge in PTSD and dissociation. Instead of how you present as a patient, they only want patients that conform to their limited guidelines. You leave the unit with an increase in suicidality. It's really sad for patients that truly have PTSD and DID. I left a mess and remain even more traumatized than ever. Don't let either ruin your life as they ruined mine. Go ANYWHERE else!
