Dr. Sheryl Hemmen, MD

She told me I’m fat and need to lose weight. I knew that. In my patient records she called that a “treatment plan” that I agreed to.She’s more of an insurance adjuster than a doctor. If you want actual treatment, go elsewhere.

I've been a patient of Dr. Hemmen's at WWFP since 2009, she & her team are consistently efficient, thoroughly helpful and compassionate when I come in, email or call, Everytime. Dr. Hemmen is warm, sensitive, personable, innovative, objective and focused, everytime. I have never had a doctor who sits down & really looks me in the eye the entire time, sincerely listens, converses and I remain her absolute focus the entire visit. I've never felt rushed, dismissed or half heartedly cared for. She is a genuine professional who obviously is focused on her patients and giving quality care. If you have issues on the phone for an appt long wait times, they have a patient portal where you can request an appt and skip the phone. Email your doctor's team anytime, and see all your records from every visit. It is a very well thought out system. Only con is WWFP does not yet make payment on their website possible. Once they have that, it will b dang near perfect.

Dr. Hemmen has been a great family doctor for both my husband and myself for years. She really cares about her patient's health, both physically and mentally. She is very kind, thoughtful and detailed. She always listens to our concerns attentively and takes care of them efficiently. She's very good at diagnoses, treatments and drug regimens within her expertise and great at referring us to different specialists in a timely manner. In addition, all her nurses are also very nice and caring. We really love their patient portal services because we can communicate with them conveniently by messages for scheduling appointments and requesting refills/referrals. We're honored to have Dr. Hemmen as our PCP. We feel very fortunate and grateful to her great care. I strongly recommend Dr. Hemmen to you and your loved ones.
