Dr. Sheryl is the most caring compassionate Dr I have ever met. She goes over and beyond for her patients. She is absolutely amazing.

At the Alexandria location, the screen to view twins is less 17" (smaller than the screen the doctor uses to conduct the ultrasound). I was told that the exam table does not incline or adjust for patient comfort. At 8 months pregnant, I can't lie flat, the doctor could not be phased by my shortness of breath, dizziness, and discomfort from lying flat during the exam. The exam room temperature is set to the doctor's comfort, i.e. the thermostat was set at 73 degrees; coupled with the heat from the ultrasound machine, the room becomes upwards of 76 degrees- Much too hot for a pregnant woman with twins. The doctor douses herself in too much perfume which is tough to stomach at 8 months. The doctor is defensive & rude when asked any specific medical questions like blood pressure, twin weight, overall health of twins. I loathe my appointments with her & prefer to drive 70 miles, 1 way to see Dr. Barrilleaux who has a 5-star bedside manner & caters to patient understanding & comfort.

We came into Dr. Sheryl's care a bit worried about our pregnancy. We met with her monthly, and we are so thankful for her professionalism, intellect, and assurance. She is comforting, undeniably brilliant, and thorough. We left each appointment with clarity and excitement for our baby, knowing that such a well-trained expert gave her stamp of approval. Thank you for taking such good care of us! Lastly, all of our ultrasound technicians were wonderful as well. Bravo for such an incredible group!

I have a healthy, vibrant 1 year old child that because of Dr. Polenik was diagnosed and treated for a heart condition that was found by Dr. Polenik. She did not only diagnose the child but referred me to the best pediatric cardiologist in the world. If you have been referred to this practice you are blessed! Dr. Polenik has been my physician for the birth of all 3 of my children. I thank GOD for her knowledge and compassion. I wish this practice many years of continued excellence!!!!!!
