The fact that both doctors took the time to chat with me about each and every prescription I was given from the previous Pain Management doctor I had verify the feelings I had on the necessity of the drugs taken for the good or bad for my overall health was astonishing. I'm so happy that I transferred my care over to UCI for so many reasons, even with the busiest of the campus, it's worth it. Dr. Valerin my Oncologist and her assistant {staff name removed} is phenomenal, and now I put Dr. Ito and Dr. King in the same category. I'm truly hopeful more than ever that I have the right team to beat this dreadful disease.

Good experience. I would have liked to have had the written information sooner than at the time of the appointment, so that I could review and be ready to ask questions. And then, the limit on the people who accompanied me - - - it was my son visiting from Texas who came specifically to get his questions answered and of course my wife. So to make it such a big deal that the two of them could not come in with me - - - that was a bit frustrating. I realize you have to have the rules, but make plans for family members who want / need to attend this very unfamiliar medical practice - very new to us. Even having been able to plan for them to attend by zoom would have helped, but we needed to plan for it.
