Dr. Shikha Sethi, MD

We consider Dr. Sethi a family member! She has treated myself my husband, my sister, her husband, our parents and many friends. Whenever somebody needs a doctor for back or neck pain I say go right to Dr. Sethi and nobody has ever been disappointed. She is caring, smart, to the point, knows what she’s doing and has an excellent team. She has saved many of us from surgery when we were told we needed surgery by other physicians and even found a cancer in my brother-in-law that others had missed. she is really one of the best doctors out there.

Dr. Sethi is an extremely thoughful and technically superb spine doctor. I suffered from lower back pain for years and wish I had taken the advice of my friends and seen this doctor sooner. She diagnosed my L4 disc issue and then took care of the problem. I have been pain-free for the past 6 weeks for the first time in years and extremely happy with the care.

If I could leave a 0/5 for SHIKHA SETHI, M.D. I would, my appointment with her on 9/19 was horrific I have never encountered a doctor who was more interested in getting paid than patient care, my appointment ran an hour long and for 45 mins she just kept repeating why I was there if my pain was accident related because insurance is not going to cover the payment, I tried to explain to her that my pain has been there since way before the accident and the pain was aggravated after the accident and she did not want to listen to anything I had to say after 45 mins of being concerned about payment she said “well since we have little time left and there’s no point of letting you leave since you’re already here, let’s talk about what’s going on with your pain” I tried to tell her I emailed over my records to her and we can go over them together since it’s a complete history of what’s wrong and then we can go from there” but she interrupted me and said there’s too many pages here.

Simply superb doctor. I rarely leave reviews but I am compelled to say that this was a simple flawless clinic visit.

Excellent, professional

Dr. Sethi is empathic, listens to concerns, and provides understandable explanations and options for treatments. I’m 82 years old and have interacted with many physicians… Dr Sethi is one of the best.

Dr. Sethi is such a kind and caring doctor. She does not want you to be in pain and is highly skilled at what she does. I would not let just anyone go into my spine with a needle. I totally trust her. She explains everything very well. I love her.

Because I went for a 2nd opinion with a back surgeon the visit was uncaring and quite frankly hostile. I have been prescribed opioid medication which she wouldn't refill even after I did what I was told to go to surgeon Dr Guess. I'm glad I saw him as he took my concerns serious. Back to the visit with Dr Sethi she said at the end she didn't have any time left to talk to me. And this was the frightening part she said and I will quote "if you stop taking the medication you could have a seizure and die". After being a patient there for many years having spent thousands and thousands of dollars. This is the way I was treated. By the way the surgical center there owes me money. At least 700.00. Since April 2021. I cannot express in words what I have gone through. Many years of narcotic medication to none. Apparently I made it through or I wouldn't be leaving this message. I thank God for the resilience and the comfort of my spiritual life gave me. Wait time 45 minutes usually.

I have received at least four steroid injections to help relieve my lower back pain. Each of these encounters went extremely well and I couldn’t have been more pleased. Dr. Sethi’s bedside matter is extremely warm and professional.

Great doctor. Great team. Organized. Explained everything. I know know why I used to hurt, I never knew for years of seeing other doctors, almost had surgery. She made 85% of my pain go away for 5 years now. She knows her stuff, gets it done. Very busy, very kind. She saved my life and my quality of life. Gratitude beyond words.

I was depressed after months, my back pain progressively got worse. Nothing I did or nobody I saw could help me get relief from the constant cycle of back pain. Based on my friend Rob's recommendation. we got my PCP to get an appointment with Dr Sethi, within short notice (In a day). I have never seen such a wonderful doctor in my life, she has given so much confidence and she clearly explained what my problem was and what the next steps were to take care of my back pain. She explained my L5 disk issue and scheduled me for an epidural within a week and then did a great job. My back pain went away and I am happier for it. I strongly recommend her to other people who are have any back-related problems.

I saw Dr. Sethi for visits surrounding 2 rhizotomy procedures. After the 2nd it was clear several months later something was still very wrong. I went back and she ordered an MRI. Even though the report used words like "severe" and "possible nerve impingement" she argued with the radiologist's report and said she had done a rhizotomy so my pain wasn't coming from my back. She said I should have a CT scan to check for other causes. My GI doctor and I both thought this sounded wrong so I went to a spinal surgeon for a 2nd opinion. He looked at the MRI, said my back was in bad shape, and ordered some additional testing that was performed by an anesthesiologist. These tests showed numerous disc tears, leaks and 2 buldging discs. I understand that spine surgery is out of Dr. Sethi's perview but she should know when referring a patient out is appropriate. Her beside manner is non-existent and I have never been to a more unsympathetic physician in my entire life.

I have been going to Dr. Sethi for a year. She is kind, compassionate, and thorough. I required several procedures after a bad fall. Dr. Sethi was able to get me appointments the same day or the next day. She's my favorite physician!

Really cares and takes her time

Dr Sethi is a very pleasant person, professional, and understands the patient's needs. I would recommend Dr. Seth to my family members and friends with no doubt.

I definitely would recommend Dr Sethi, she listens and provides clear answers to my questions. Her staff is awesome starting at the front door with Keisna and Katie, and Stacy at checkout. Also Christine in the business office. Julie and Johnathan always greet me with a smile. EVERYONE at this office is professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Over the years my family has seen several doctors at the office and we are happy to have these health resource in our town,

Aah! I truly appreciate her listening skills in addition to her ability to treat my condition. When a patient feels that the doctor is really paying attention, they become more at ease. After all, this is very personal and it creates a level of trust that is essential to our well-being.
