Dr. Shin Chiu, MD

Went in with bad tinnitus. Dr. Chui was 100% confident it was an "allergy" though I did warn him I had been exposed to loud noise. Three weeks later, still have tinnitus, he tells me to go see Audiologist. Test results show I have lost hearing in high frequency. Dr. Chui asked me to come in asap. This guy TELLS ME MY AUDIOGRAM RESULTS, TELLS ME MY TINNITUS IS PERMANENT, DOESN'T DO ANY OTHER TESTS OR PRESCRIPTION AND THEY STILL BILLED ME FOR A VISIT! Could have been a phone conversation! Don't go here. Avoid at all cost. Whole office is something from the 1950s, felt more like a psychiatric ward with old equipment. I do not recommend! This whole three weeks I could have gotten proper care from a doctor that actually cares. Time to retire Dr. Chui.

Very awesome doctor! I had a right ear problem with sensation of unwanted fullness, pain, ringing sound constantly. He not even looked at my affected ear, assessed my nose, throat and jaw joint to provide me the comprehensive solution. He catches my chronic allergy problem right away as well as my jaw joint issue, not even touching it. He right away catches how I sleep at night (what position, etc). Very awesome! knows everything. He solved my ear issue right away and provided a good solution.

What a frightening feeling to have decreasing/diminshing ear loss from, apparent, ear wax build up! I had this feeling for 4 days, which worsened, each day. I needed help right away! I looked online to find an ENT MD who could give me assistance with my problem. To my dismay, most of the MDs were booked 2 weeks out. Finally, after much searching, I found Dr. Chiu! What a GR8 find! He is a MD w/ loads of experience, caring, gentle, has a nice sense of humor...Most of all, he enabled me to HEAR!
