Dr. Shirley John, MD

I had my re-evaluation with Dr. John, I am sad that she is leaving there.

Dr. John was a really cold and uncomfortable woman be around. She doesn't care about helping her patients, she obviously is there for just the money. Also, has no bedside manners. I was very disappointed with my time there with her.

Rude, cold, and outright hostile throughout our entire appointment. An evaluation became an uncomfortable interrogation. I then spent 85% of the remaining time sitting there listening to her go on a diatribe about the DEA, a prescription epidemic, cash-for-pills, saying she doesn't care what other doctors have said before, etc. Not once did she ask about my symptoms, how severely they affect my life, or treatment options; she had clearly made a decision before I even sat down with her. AVOID!!!

Made me feel uncomfortable by questioning body movements of mine that I can't help.. I have a nervous habit. Also, prescribed medication for anxiety that I am apparently allergic to and when I called she said don't take the medication and when I have a panic attack to just relax.. Well the reason I go to a psych doctor is because I have tried all those methods and none worked. Very cold attitude..

Don't waste your time with this women and go find a doctor that cares. Barely talks to you talks on phone while it's your time. Very cold and acts like she dosnt care. Most unproffesional and rude doctor I have ever saw seriously a joke.
