Great doctor
18 years ago I met Dr S. Lele in the emergency room at Lake West Hospital. I am glad we met as he saved my leg. Thus our relationship started as doctor - patient. I find him to be a very knowledgeable doctor. Easily accessible.

Very rude
Upon our first meeting, he did not even greet me but instead stood as close as he could to me as I was seated, pounded on his chest and shouted, 'I am important!' at least four times regarding himself. It was the strangest encounter. I was stunned. He didn't allow me to speak, and I will not be back.

He is a great doctor if you know a little bit and are willing to listen. It can take some waiting certain days, but only because he is over booked. That should be a testament to how good of a doctor he is. He gets me in, he is concise and to the point. He doesn't have time to listen to everything you have to say because he is the doctor. Don't like him, try to go else wear. Your taking up valuable time. He is a top rate doctor in a low success rate scenario for approval.

HAVE BEEN WITH THIS DOCTOR FOR OVER 17 YEARS. EASY TO MAKE A SAME DAY APPOINTMENT IF YOU HAVE TIME TO SIT FOR TWO HOURS TO WAIT TO SEE HIM. HE SPENDS LESS & LESS TIME. WITH YOU. IT TOOK THREE DAYS OF LEAVING MESSAGES TO GET A RETURN CALL. LAST BLOOD TEST ORDERED WAS PUT IN WRONG. TESTED FOR EVERYTHING BUT WHAT WAS NEEDED. MY FAMILY OF 4 ALL WERE PATIENTS, WE ARE ALL LOOKING ELSEWHERE.

I would say a competent doctor. In the office often a wait well after appointment time and usually in a hurry for the visit. Not as detailed explanations, not as quick to listen as many. If there is a billing issue with insurance the system is very difficult to get help.

I've seen Dr. Lele for a few years and his service has gotten worse. He doesn't listen and doesn't stop talking. It seems like he's just a salesman for pharmaceutical companies. I recently went in for dizziness and nausea, along with sniffles and coughing after a trip to Jamaica. He saw me for less than 5 minutes total, didn't care what I had to say, and proceeded to prescribe me 7, yes 7, medications without any explanation as to what is wrong with me.

Careful! This doc told me last year that I needed neck surgery after an MRI. He said it was very critical and gave me the name of a surgeon to contact. He said I could try the Cleveland Clinic, but I would have to wait long for the surgery and to just contact the surgeon he referred me to. Thankfully, I had an appointment with a neurosurgeon for some other concerns, and he looked at my neck MRI and said there was nothing seriously wrong-no surgery needed-that was a year ago. I'm fine.

He asks questions and then doesn't wait to hear the answer before moving on. There is no hope to have an actual interactive conversation with him because he has already determined what your answer is to his questions. He talks real fast to make himself sound super smart or something...it really only serves to demonstrate the fact he doesn't care one way or another about you or your well being.

Dr. Lele is an extremely questionable Doctor. He diagnosed me with a condition when tests showed otherwise. He told me I was in denial. I later saw more experienced doctors who not only discounted his diagnosis, but were in complete disbelief that a doctor would do this to their patient. Needless to say, I've found a new primary caregiver. I do not recommend this doctor, unless it's minor such as sinus infection, flu, etc.

I have no doubt that Dr. Lele knows his medicine, but he often does not LISTEN. He jumps to try to finish what you are saying, and often it is not what you were going to say. When you try to slow him down, he appears impatient. I'm a pretty clear person, and I have decided to move on. I am not a complainer by any stretch, but this pattern and a rush to get you out in 3 minutes makes me feel disrespected.
