Dr Badhwar only gets One Star!!!
Please, if you value your health, your life, and your sanity, DO NOT SEE THIS DOCTOR!!! So frustrating! I work in healthcare as a customer service advocate. I was referred to a neurologist for the first time in my life for chronic migraines and ringing in my ears. At Dr Badhwar's office the front desk is unresponsive, there is poor communication between MA's and this doctor, there is a 45 minute wait time for the doctor to enter the room, never making direct eye contact with me, told me she only uses a tape recorder for a visit, which then cutoff during the visit, so she just opted to not create a visit summary or any documentation for my PCP to review. I was a 1st time patient, suffering from pain& discomfort, I left with orders for a million tests and no explanation why or what we're doing. When I asked what tests to get done, and in what order they should be prioritized, she literally told me to choose for myself. For the record, It started awful and has only gotten worse. Run away

Very Frustrating.
So far absolutely horrible. She verbally cleared me for heart surgery, then didn't send my doctor a letter. My surgery has been cancelled 3 times because of neurology. My doctors office has called more than once a day for 6 days. She will not answer. She wrote an MRI order incorrect, and the MRI Tech has tried 3 days trying to get her to fix it and she just does not answer... I have an old brain injury which she needed to make sure would not cause an issue during surgery. If I need to see a neurologist in the future it will definitely NOT be Dr. Badhwar....

Cold and disinterested
She doesn't seem to really care about her patients. She'll only spend 10 mins with you (but will bill you saying it was 45 min), won't fully listen to what you're saying and will sit far away from you. I know that she doesn't listen since her medical notes don't reflect 90% of what you tell her. You'll leave frustrated from these appointments. She had me leaving my first appointment scared that I had MS and then in my second appointment tell me I'm fine and there's no need to see me anymore even though she put you on nerve medication. Will seek treatment elsewhere.

Dr. Badhwar was the first doctor to acknowledge my pain and actually do something about it. She ran every test possible and made accommodations when needed. She's an incredible doctor who listens to her patients and I can't recommend her enough!

Zero empathy
When coming to Badhwar for my child's seizures, she diagnosed him completely incorrectly, wouldn't prescribe medicines on a timely basis (we ran out of SEIZURE medicine), and is just an overall mean person. She has NO empathy or soul.

I have seen Dr. Badhwar twice because of a nerve condition resulting from an arthritic spine and resulting pinched nerve, and I expect to be seeing her in the future. She is calm, explains everything and answers questions, including repeating an answer in different terms if I don't necessarily understand what she is telling me. Waiting time in the waiting room and in the examination room is not unreasonable. She also has been willing to explain what alternatives there are to a course of treatment. I cannot recommend her highly enough.
