Dr. Shubha Kollampare, MD

Been a patient of hers for about a year and she spent a lot of time with me getting to the bottom of my condition. Tried many things to get me the relief I needed. Would highly recommend.

I was treated like a piece of meat rather than a patient. On my first and only visit to Dr. Kollampare, after 30 minutes I was taken to a room to wait with a sick medical student while a remote medical records person took my history. That took about 20 minutes then we sat for 45 minutes looking at each other.Another doctor I’d never heard of came in and took me to another treatment room without explaining why I was being moved, other than that they were very busy. Nobody asked for records from my last doctor before moving to Florida.This doctor then performed a physically rough exam on me, afterwards Doctor K came in for less than 5 minutes.They also did in-house bloodwork and X-rays, but didn’t submit my bloodwork to insurance so I got a bill for $1,000, which I had to process. Days after my visit, the Dr. who examined me phoned and arbitrarily said he was cutting my medication in half. That dosage had worked well for 7 years, so enough was enough. I found another doctor.

I have been with Dr. Kollampare for about 7 months. She is very passionate about improving my symptoms and stopping my disease from progressing. She seems very knowledgeable and readily goes to resources to help me, during my visits, including printing resources for me to study at home. I mostly appreciate that she takes time to listen to my questions and explain things in a way that I can understand.

I LUV HER !!!!! Dr K is one of the most sweetest , compationate Drs Ive ever had. She listens to what u have to say and answers all yr questions until u understand. She doesnt yell at u or get mad at u or make u cry. That is A TOP NOTCH DR IN MY BOOK !! If she ever leaves there I will follow her..

She is a very good listener, and truly cares about how you are feeling and responding to treatment. She has a very pleasant manner. Dr. Kollampare made me feel very comfortable and at ease during my appointment.

Dr Kollampare is a sweet, knowledgeable and very friendly doctor, she takes her time to ask, to listen and shows that she really care about your pain and wants to help you to feel better. I am very happy with her care and everything she does for me, she’s always looking for the right treatment for me and always with the right attitude and positivism that it’s contagious so I definitely recommend her if you are looking for a Rheumatologist.
