Dr. Shweta Dhar, MD

The doctor may be fabulous but we will never know. After trying to get a call back and appointment since April, we finally have one in 5 days. I received a call from the office at 7:30am offering virtual visit. When I asked if that was the only option, I was told no that it would still be in person same appointment. Just offering another option. 5 hours later, I receive a call from the most condescending person, Tanya. "Explaining" to me that the doctor can't see pain anymore in person than virtually. ARE YOU KIDDING ME? Believe it or not, I have been dealing with this with my child for years. She also said, "We don't treat here we only diagnose. She can refer her to pain management without seeing her in person." AT 19??? Pain Management?? I am beyond upset that they have WASTED so much time for my child who is in constant pain. I will NOT have my child seen in an office that does not put patient care as their #1 priority! RUN, don't walk to Mayo.

Poor bedside manor, and does not acknowledge what you are saying or your concerns. I also had to wait over a year and half to get in to see the doctor. The office said they were running behind (my apt was at 0830) and it was an hour and a half before I saw the Dr. Thoroughly not impressed and will have to find a different doctor that actually listens to my symptoms and concerns.

Dr. Dhar was very helpful. She worked through and helped genetically diagnose a mutation that other genetic clinics had not found.
